good point on the amd gpu bit. if you read anandtech indepth review, you will find that the MBP turns on discrete graphics when you browse sites with 'yucky' flash content and that saps your battery like crazy. manually control it if you must to maintain battery life.

it show Previous MBP 15" with Nvidia graphic is better than AMD itself? im using C2D model with Nvidia 9600GT, battery still can last more than 5 hour for normal surfing..already using more than 1 year..

I am using the MBP 13" i7. It's very fast processing and zippy, a lot faster than the core2duos. On the graphic side, so long as u do not play 3D games in boot camp win7, you will be fine with the Intel HD3000 graphics.

Video editing, etc, works superbly in Snow Leopard and the Intel HD 3000. I am using Aperture n Photoshop CS5 to do my photo post processing, and I hardly wait, everything works very fast in this machine.
*
izzit good enough u do editing in 13" screen..no need upgrade to 15 or 17"?
core i7 sure very fast processor at this moment..

Guys, a quick question about RAMs. If let's say at one point I was using 90% of available ram, how am I suppose to reduce the usage besides turning my MBP off? I practically closed all running applications except the finder but still ram usage is high. Leaving the MBP sleeping for several hours also did not do the trick.
*
why u need to that that? just shut down if u not using...

you would certainly need to install flash plug in for newly fresh installed firefox.
just that, my suggestion is, try other browser instead of sticking to one browser, safari only.

yeah, you might want to give that a try.
*
im still prefer firefork than safari..:-)
