ermmm will it harm the bike. like i open full throttle below 1 k. and then next time cannot be faster than (people who use less throttle rpm for first 1 - 3 k?)

only 1k.. for 1-3k, u must change the engine oil every 1k.. after the 3rd time change, interval is between every 3k km..

doing such action, affect the engine parts. pray that it is in good condition. it wont affect the speed, but it do affect the engine reliability in the long run or if u're unlucky, in the short run, u need to fork out of money already.

on fz normally 0-500km ride 80km/h, then changed oil and 90km/h for 500-1000km for running in.

doing such action, ur bike will have higher chances of the piston stuck in the block, then it will affect almost the whole engine parts, costing 1k i guess.

btw, based on the speedo meter of ur bike, how fast did u got with full throttle?

its actually a choice, but change after 1k km is a must.

Also have to change the oil filter on first oil change too.

hmm so bike speed will be same even i open full throttle compare with people who take care of the throttle for first few k?

phew. i dont care bout engine block or long term reliability but i care bout speed if the bike dont sound nice like supermoto (thumper) or superbike



so i open up full throttle its almost 125 - 130 kmh. 9 - 10 k rpm. will it go faster later on next service. i hope after 3rd service i open throttle again. i sked piston stuck

@terradrive. i am going to service the bike this saturday. what to expect for the foreman to change?

gonna get new tire maybe this month or next month. the china brand very slippery ....

and at 900 km i feel the bike like underpower. sheet !!!!!!!! like no drive like that at 2 k rpm .... sluggish?

thesun, i dont recommend lorry oil for fz. short term, maybe good. feels comfortable. but after few time changes, uncomfortable sound will come out

fixed. i ctrl+v so fast till got double..

not sure about fz, but normally all bikes can use this oil. many had been using for yrs already.

Follow the recommendation from the owner's manual only, maybe just change oil and oil filter.
FZ150i memang top speed at 130km/h (meter) even after run in, depending on wind speed it may get 135-140km/h if you lucky. One easy way to increase top speed is to lie down like sportbike riders haha, it can add 10km/h, less wind resistance mar.

I thought 2k rpm really low liao? When I rode my friend's fz I normally use 3.5krpm++

@harddiskdrive - sorry i think around 3 - 4 k .. like when i twist the throttle, its not smooth. like the piston stuck or delayed responce time to move the bike.
