Wanna ask. How come Poslaju EMS tracking system so sucks? Till now I type in my parcel number, still says no record found but USPS tracking system updates me often.


I got the following from USPS tracking system:

I'm using that one all the while. Called them and they haven't keyed in the record into their system yet but they confirmed the item already cleared custom in Kota Kinabalu at 10 something morning today, so tomorrow should be arriving Tawau (destination).

Damn la..., even USPS keeps their tracking up to date but poslaju isn't. Malunya...lol

In case if you missed my previous post, I said...I was, I am and I always do check using the following link:

But, Poslaju always says "No Record found".

Like I said, called to Poslaju and they said they haven't keyed in the record, but they confirmed item already cleared custom.

The thing that impressed me is that now U.S. should be midnight but they still updated their record in USPS tracking system with the latest info.

10:09am today item cleared custom, suppose U.S. there was midnight during that item, but USPS tracking system could track it while there is not a bit of info in poslaju tracking system.
Get what I mean? The difference. One is midnight, their system is up to date. One is daytime but no record is entered.

I thought dual channel works when the amount of RAM and frequency in every pieces of the memory stick are the same.

Let's say:
4 + 4 + 4 + 4 (all 4 are 1333MHz), dual channel works
4 + 4 (both 1333MHz), dual channel works
2 + 4 (both 1333MHz), dual channel won't work
4 + 4 (one 1066MHz, one 1333MHz) dual channel won't work

You know, the best thing about 4-season country is that during winter, your laptop will never be overheated but it still cannot reach the level of becoming your heater for winter.

Item already reached my hometown in the evening, guess tomorrow poslaju is going to send to me. Use PosLaju tracking to check, only one liner there showing the item already reached my hometown, no previous route record. And United States memang United States, tracking is so up to date.

I received my laptop 3 days ago and had been dealing with data transferring and installing programs, didn't really have time to work on any games yet. Mine is also ATI HD6970m. I purchased it from XoticPC and things came in a good condition. So far I don't see any dead pixels with naked eyes. Battery running fine with AC Adapter not connecting to the laptop. Specs are the same as what I had ordered.

It didn't come with a Windows and I needed to install mine. By default, Windows 7 had already done an accessment on Windows Experience Index but I tried to do it once on my own for another time and it is still okay.

lol lol lol..., i'm gonna get a screen protector too. Not sure whether to get the anti-scratch or anti-glare...

By the way, anyway to get a keyboard skin for Sager/Clevo :\
Sager/Clevo keyboard skin is not common...

I don't know what's the difference but mine is a NP8170-S1 lol
But I kinda like the plastic aluminium finish on it, don't really like rubberized finish which dust can easily stuck on it.

Waiting for 9 - 12 June PC Show to get a 17 inch laptop backpack for my beast. Any recommendation on that? Whether there will be any offer on laptop bags during PC show?

I will try to look into Targus XL Backpack, since XoticPC did offer to add on USD 75 to get one but I didn't take it (a bit regret now...). Not sure what is the market price of Targus XL Backpack (Fits up to 17").

I do admit that XoticPC offers higher shipping cost than other resellers. Mine is USD 223 for a 17" and sweeann got a quote of USD 217 for a 15".

I hate the rubberized finish, that's why I got myself an NP8170-S1 which is plastic alunium finish. Given if I were to take the NP8130 or NP8150, I would definitely do something to the finish.

I was the one got it from XoticPC.
The postage charged by USPS is actually USD 132.70, but XoticPC charged me USD 223, nearly USD 100 difference, but that would be the price to pay for better customer service and their reputation (you know, XoticPC is almost the biggest player 'reseller' among all the resellers)

That's why I encourage you guys get a few quotations from LPC-Digital and PowerNotebook too.

If you can save USD 50 to 60 from the shipping cost, the amount you save can be used to purchase a good backpack from powernotebook lol
