Hey all,

is Clevo and Sager the same company ?

Why some people put Sager/Clevo as the brand?
and, for example GTX 460M, will it be the same as GTX 460 Desktop ? (performance I mean)
*
Clevo and Sager is different company. Sager is OEM manufacturer.

mobile and desktop graphics card is in different league, and cannot put in same category.

just write the particulars needed in the deposit slip including order number (retrieve from the order). Pay in USD.

Then, just email the scanned receipt back to them. smile.gif

NP8170 no rubbery surface, 2 hdds slot but 1kg heavier and HUGE.

NP8150 seem like dust magnet but most powerful 15 incher and more mobile.

spec and price wise not much different, get NP8170 or NP8150?
*
depends on your preferences and budget. If got extra, go for 8170 biggrin.gif

if budget limited and want 2nd hdd, go for 8150. exchange optical to caddy case that can put another hard disk.

LOL! I'd say that it'll be around 5.5k max. The HD 5870M cost me RM 1.4k to upgrade from the GTX 280M. I'd guess it'll be around the same price as well and its not possible that it'll be way more expensive than the 485M. @_@

it's just an estimation. tongue.gif

e-mail to them that you want to cancel the order.

If you want to play around for the price (from mucro), refer to first page for shipping rate. For Cubehub, just add USD $130

actually, there is an option to discard mucro regional warranty/cubehub asean limited warranty to make it cheaper smile.gif

The reseller will process the order based on the queue. If you want to get the laptop really urgently, you can opt for Rush Service.

I have to quote from This is a Lamp
QUOTE
The resellers are an important factor in choosing a Sager/Clevo laptop; they play a huge part in your purchase and warranty issues and most importantly, your first impression. As other consumer brands are answering machines and less technical when it comes to support, the Sager/Clevo resellers are people, and offer quick, adaptive technical knowledge to their customers, be it with jargon (technical words) or not. Most of these resellers are forum representatives in Notebookreview.com, and you can specifically ask them about questions and cheaper quotes. Even here in Lowyat, Mucro SG, a Singaporean reseller, has a forum rep lurking and answering questions. But do not order directly from Sager, because they are quite horrible with patrons and just about as bad as the answering machine brands.

Acer also produce laptops at very attractive price, and as you said, made from cheap stuff; but still lots of people buying it.

I wonder mucro/cubehub able to offer option of not to choose hard drive and memory module to make the unit cheaper, like RJ Tech. hmm.gif

http://rjtech.com/shop/index.php

And also, awaiting info for HD6970m in NP8150 model, which Eurocom already test it.
