Hi ,

I need answers to decide which one should i purchase to
Im living in seremban and I would like to purchase d7000 kit 18-105

1) Seremban D7000kit sells rm 4500 ( 8gb+bag) (authorized nikon dealers)

2) Lowyat/BB plaza/Subang jaya/time square D7000kit sells rm4450-4600 (8gb+bag) ( I have to drive from seremban to there )

which selection should I purchase to ?

Please help me , getting it by next week
Much thanks

I would go for option (1), it would be easier for you to claim warranty etc since the shop is in your place. It is just RM50 differences, save you from traveling to KL. Your petrol, toll, parking etc.

Well, d90 is in different class/category than 550d.

...D90, D7000 --> ...50D, 60D
*
But but but... the Canon users thinks 550D -> D90, 60D -> D7000, 50D,7D -> D300s laugh.gif

50D IMO is way higher class than 60D and d7000. Got full mag alloy body, but Canon being too smart to downgrade it's 60D and in consequence make d7000 looks like some monster.  laugh.gif
*
The 50D sensor is a failure, it is worse than the 40D. Its either the 40D or 7D for Canon crop sensors. 50D ISO performance is just eww, even my friends who owns a 50D regret grabbing that instead of the 40D.

Its because 7D already fill the gap so logical way to do is to downgrade 60D abit so that it wont be in the same class as 7D (interm performance & price)
*
But I always don't understand Canon's strategy. They always have competition even within their own products doh.gif . 550D -> 60D -> 7D. All using same sensor...

Bottom line is, Canon refresh the body too frequent. Last time my friend bought 500D and not long after 550D came out. LOL. Then those who bought 550D also not even 1 year release the 600D. Damn fast.

How can you say Canon fail. Canon Singapore has the ability to sponsor million-dollar goodies including 24 7D cameras, telephoto lenses, flashes, and 700 document managements devices to National Sports Assiociation(NSA). Have you seen any other companies do that? Besides, Canon has the ability to open it's own concept stores throughout our whole country. Have you seen a lot other companies do that? If Canon cannot differentiate its own product properly, can they open so many concept stores? tongue.gif

How can you say Canon fail. I really don't understand. biggrin.gif

Canon earning a lot from selling printers, calculators, list goes on? tongue.gif They don't only sell photography gears leh~ I like Canon's printers biggrin.gif

Canon spends more more then Nikon on advertising and promotions, no doubt about that. Same goes with sponsors. IIRC last year NST recieved 20 1Ds MkIV, 70-200mm F2.8 and 17-40mm brows.gif

Prototype?

Would like to see more of such competition for FF and FX. Then the bodies of FX would drop like dead flies. Yay!  rclxm9.gif
*
The FF are all semi pro or pro bodies, they do proper RnD on them and they are to last.

The entry level however are their playground to test market~

Hasselblad used to make film... until they release digital medium format since the H series hah.

I suck thoroughly so I only use the D3 only. If I have no choice I will use Hassy to go outdoors and shoot...my model. Once in a blue moon

Faster show some stuffs with the Hasselblad biggrin.gif

Edward mind to share exp on using 1755mm?
Haha , how it is with ur d90? it is f4 right?
Haha currently using D3100 , no built in motor make me hard to choose len.
Which 1750?
*
Just another 'multi purpose' lor... cause that time I have 1635 and 70200 mah, I need anything wider then I use 1635 else its 70200.

Tamron 1750, the cheapest mah.. Sigma sure out of budget.

Nice, first time viewing full size from MF! Just is it me or the color a bit not so vibrant? as compared to FF such as D3.

^ Not vibrant because didn't go through LR IIRC that time still noob don't know LR "auto" settings.

Should take a picture with that MF tomorrow and LR with it.

Hassy's colour for that is known to be damned accurate. Far more superior compare to D3. Or rather, natural looking.
*
Do a comparison~ shoot with the hassy and your d3 both at auto and see what's the jpeg output is like biggrin.gif.

Shoot with the 2470 f/2.8 lor... the 2470 should be better than the 200 f/4D? I think...

Hassy don't have JPEG optimization like D3?

Then just post both with the RAW without optimization! Simple hehe.

I got it for RM250 back then if not mistaken, but I can get this price for that time only cause I initially ordered the HD but then waited 1 week+ no stock as promised then he told me to try the XS-Pro lor. Gave me at that price.
