Anyone having unifi issues? I can't connect at all. Orange light on the router.. Tried restarting, off/on, unplug plug back.

Nothing works..zzzzzz

never try with cable yet...need to buy cable first..long one..i guess around 20 meter or so..

yeah...port 4..i even tried to change to another point..same result...dem..

i just wonder.. does anybody experience the same...never tried to use home plug before..this is my first time..

hi guys..wanna ask something about unifi,,,is it true we can only use the modem router provided by TM and cant use our own?..what if next time spoilt?...we need to go back TM and get another 1??..cant just simply go lowyat and get 1?

hey guys, I was wondering on how Unifi would perform in a highrise building. I've read somewhere that unifi is working 100% for terrace houses while only 70-80% of overall performance for highrise buildings due to the old copper line installed within the building....

Is this true? 

Well all I want is to disable 100% wireless. Meaning there no wireless sign on what so ever. I edit to the admin page, disable everything and switch everything. Then on my pc test on my hp still there's there's wireless sign. Wonder y is there. I was thinking to get a knife and cut off the router antenna to disable wireless. So annoying people can get my wifi for free  .

hi guys..if im still using old tv without hdmi port...i want to connect the set top box hdmi cable to the tv..what do i need?..is there some kind of switch or something?

The unifi fellars came by this afternoon, but I aborted the installation because the internal installers drilled into the concealed air cond duct, the gas was fizzling out of the hole all the time!!

Sigh...really disappointed by their oversight.. those installers look so novice as if they dont know what they are doing..I wonder if TM is gonna compensate for the damages incurred. Really disappointed with the outcome...

Hey peeps, i've been experiencing slow dl speeds from itunes and steam, so i went and did a speedtest, and it says im located in sabah??? How can this be? Using unifi vip 5

bad...my download speed drop to 40kbps...
darn...it take daysssss to complete 1 muvi....

Amazon is not the only site affected. Sites like groupsmore.com and farmville.com are also affected. This looks like a routing issue as sites which works goes to a different path than those which do not. AFAIK Streamyx users are not affected, even those nearby Unifi IP address ranges.

Apparently all amazon hosted site such as foursquare.com amazon.com hootsuite.com manymoon.com all blocked by TM/ unifi since yesterday evening.
This is ridiculous I have almost 80 ppl in the office using the website hosted by amazon now they can't access - they can't work because of this problem..

TM, can u please fix this as priority......!!!!

Same here, no problem accessing sites that I want to visit.
I'm on 110x IP and using OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 

Sound don't pop out from no where. You'll obviously need a pair of speakers. =.="

Some ppl are ddos your network , i hosted an website with my unifi biz 20 also have this issues those lame less country love to ddos us.

If this is from the DIR-615's SPI firewall log it's likely just a false positive. Happens when you P2P via Bittorrent, etc.

Just wanted to let everyone know that if your UniFi breaks, you can expect to be without Internet, Telephone & TV for quite a while.
Mine failed on 1st March. Today, 4th March they finally gave me an appointment date for rectification - 16th March!

Absolutely incredible that a company that is making 1.2billion in profit cannot provide customer service - or maybe that is why they made so much? Sign up suckers like me & then don't bother to fix the system and don't allow me to cancel my 2 year contract?

For the 1st 2 days I had no DSL light. Now I notice I do have a DSL light so maybe they did some work on their side & fixed part of it and maybe now the only problem is my side.....? I am trying to fault-find myself. I am in a condo so connection from basement is by phone lines. I have a Huawei HG655a with DSL light on and Internet light blinking every so often, presumably when the D-Link DIR-615 tries to connect to Internet.

I tried removing the D-Link and have connected my PC into the HG665a and logged in with Admin/Admin. Network status is that ptm1.400 is always 'Connecting' and ptm1.600 and ptm1.500 are both 'Connected' though Online Duration is 0 and - respectively.
The xDSL info is as per the attachment.

Any experts on this HG655a that can tell me if it is dead and can tell me if I can buy my own tonight or tomorrow? Or an equivalent? I don't necessarily need phone & tv for the time being but cannot survive without Internet (typing this on my Celcom connection at the moment!)

Hi,

Still thinking of getting the unfi.  Seems still got a lot of complain about the speed.  How about the service if the link is down?  I read through a few, it will takes a few days just to make appointment.  My god.  Currently using streamyx, quite efficient.  Call today, most of the time by tomorrow will be fix or rectify...  Since using normal phone line and the equipment is not so complex as compare to Unifi.

I just imagine internet is down for a few days just waiting for the unifi support guy to turn up.

Please share your experience.
