Yes NEO come with USB-OTG feature. U need to update to the latest firmware .368 or .42 to enjoy it.

I am a Neo user and sometimes using a wireless keyboard with it. However it doesnt support USB mass storage officially.

i asked around, and found out PRO wasn't a hot unit in market. even AP sets are quite rare. that is why it is in the 1st page of the christmas promo instead of NEO. i just ordered idefense (wat to do...only that in market).

Well, that doesnt surprise me. Many people are hyped with iphone anyhow. I never fancy a brick like phone and only touch screen. Well, I still love my pro and if its a rare phone, all the more value it is when I board LRT and others are using bricks...kekekeke *no offence though*

Yeap....some of them got these phones just to surf facebook anyhow, from wat i see in LRT everyday la. For me its easier cuz I read my email and I deal with many departments, so its quite helpful. =) Meh...I doubt we can get any casing in Malaysia....if got also need to order from oversea. And the SP is memang crap...but they are selling the ATF(anti fingerprint) ones, just tht ur screen might be less sensitive thn ur nipples la later.

The images for the "slide to unlock" are located in the /system/framework/framework-res.apk :res\drawable-hdpi"

To change it you'll gonna need root access, APK tool to extract and recompile it. You need to overwrite the old file and set the correct permissions. If anything went wrong, you'll need to reflash. I haven't tried editing APK by myself yet so I can't guarantee the result. You may seek guides from xda-developers forum.

So that is how.

However there are some tool in the Market to change the lockscreen (which I haven't tried any because I am very happy with the stock theme)

Bought 2 red Pro from Gardens. Into my 4th days today. My complaint would be battery life! It's crazy compare to all my previous phone - WinMobile 6 PDA, Nokia E71, HTC Wildfire S (Android 2.2).

My Pros are fully charged at incredibly speed - 1 hour or less. And equally shocking battery draining rate. I was required to charge it like 3 times a day at light usage (no game/video/music). Then switch off data traffic when I'm idle (sleep/cinema etc)

Any tips on battery saving? Or is my unit abnormal? I'm new to Sony Ericsson Android/Timescape.

I've turned off Bravia engine, brightness control at lowest. TimeScape sync off.

Activate auto-sync: not tick

Just wanna ask,
do we really need a class 4 above for SD memory?
now i using a class 2 8gb only. Thinking to change 16gb/32gb.
but class 10 is quite expensive
want to use cheap one like class 4~6. Will it effect the speed of loading?

I'm turn on almost everything, homescreen with widgets, timescape, mail sync, weather updates, YM, etc. On GPS, Data Traffic, etc. Got AVG Antivirus somemore...
The battery life is way better than any other phone I used before. It's amazing.

Did both your device suffers from the same fate?
There is built-in checker for what's using my battery, you can try and check that, mine is used by display mostly.
If not, then you might want to get the battery checked.

I'm using Class 10 32GB, even that, the pictures didn't load very fast. I guess the device may have limited read/write speed itself.

bro, data traffic enable drains plenty battery...my friend's NEO can last only 12 hours with data traffic enable whole time. my PRO last 2 days MINIMUM without data traffic but on and off wifi applications.

YES, it support OTG

Buy class 10 16GB, you won't regret it. I saw garage sale sell for RM95. It reads and writes faster especially during file transfer from PC or loading the gallery.

It is a bit expensive but it pays back.


I've used class 4 before using class 10, my data always corrupted.

If I am not mistaken it is for Gingerbread 2.3.3.

I've tried it and doesn't work with Neo (and Pro too I think)
