Today Google officially release Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Sony Ericsson announced all 2011 Xperia will have ICS flavor update soon (which is dunno how soon).

i m using neo.

last tym, i try to root my 2.3.4 neo. by refering  steps in xda forum. what i need flashing to downgrade neo to 2.3.2 first to apply gingerbreak.apk.. after that i need upgrade back to 2.3.4 via OTA.

However, after downgrade, my neo boot as normal, but then the battery icon shows 0% and the phone turn off.. reflash firmware and kernel again and again still not solving this problem...

Kindly, is there any taiko here know what to do?

All xperia neo user using this method will get this problem and currently no way to solve it    However they still trying to solve. For arc also they have this issue but already have the solution.

Next time I suggest you do read some comments or review first 

yeah, my bad for getting itchy hand.. just few lucky users successfully root using this method, so i try my luck here..
but for arc, the solution is still temporary..

mebbe, need to send my neo to get mainboard replaced...

try removing your battery for a few seconds and then putting it back. Maybe that will solve the wrong battery capacity problem ... i ve read some discussion to remove the battery if charge level is incorrectly detected.

guys, i'm planning to ditch my htc wildfire for xperia neo.. but my main concern now after reading some reviews in the internet is that some say that the have a problem with 3rd party headset? any of u owners face this issue? what does that mean? does that mean i can't use other brand of earphone with xperia neo?

i bought neo because it supports Flash, n i m a web developer/coder just need the functions. yes, u can buy GSC tickets, n play facebook games too. it can stream live tv very well too!

I tried using Opera Mobile and the built in browser, the website showed that it is supported on Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer (desktop browsers). I think is is the browser support, not Flash plugin problem.

GSC restrict the client....I wonder if we can change stock browser useragent.. wanna add Firefox 2.0 user agent..

Only Opera can change the user_agent to desktop but not working for GSC. Hope Firefox will enable it in the future.
Btw, yesterday I've updated my Neo to 4.0.2.A.0.42 fireware.

I feel the battery last longer than 4.0.1.A.0.283 firmware ... and basically the other usage experience is none noticeable.
