well there an ultrasonic sensor to detect movement in the cabin when the alarm is armed
so when you wife moved, the alarm will get triggered
*
Where is the ultrasonic sensor located? can't seems to see it.

The simplest way to trigger the alarm is after locking your car using the remote, use the physical key to unlock the door..

Those all insight owner, is your spare key come with remote? If no, can I fabricate one separate remote outside? As my SA told me, Honda Charge for RM 800++ for a new remote wave key.

Bro zero, 2k for modulo kits sound a bit expensive considering the front and back piece is just so small...

Even mugen kit for civic which comes with bigger piece only cost less than 1.5k...

Bro's and sifu's sekalian, paiseh I go off topic for a while ya..

Do you guys mind helping out a lady friend of mine who is doing her Masters research on the factors influencing the purchase of hybrid cars in Malaysia. Basically it is about why people will want to buy hybrid cars.

The results of the research can help in determining why people would want to buy hybrid cars such as the HIH, and perhaps can give you an idea on how to maintain/sell your cars in the future.

This research is targeted at owners of hybrid cars, potential owners of hybrid cars that intend to purchase a hybrid car in the near future and all individuals that are interested to buy hybrid cars.

Really hope everyone can pitch in here smile.gif If you guys are okay with it, I will post up the link later smile.gif

Really sorry for going off topic.. But please help support our students!

Simple Reason - Import Duty Exemption and 50% Off from Excise Duty for Hybrid cars in Malaysia for 2011.

Reference :

http://www.maa.org.my/pdf/MEDIA_RELEASE_NAP_Media_281009.pdf

Majority will not consider Hybrid when need to pay more of import/excise duty for a merely 1.3 Litre cc Hybrid Car. shakehead.gif

Hence, you may NOT get more research materials you expected from most of us. unsure.gif

But, I think you can approach Honda/Toyota Marketing Dept for some white paper references which may potentially helps YOUR students instead.

Again, if any owner or individual here willing to help, there will be a bonus for you. rolleyes.gif

Nope, is not there, unlike CRV and Civic. There is nothing near the map light.

I guess the reason why the alarm was triggered mentioned earlier by pAcAq, alarm was armed and his wife try to open the door from inside?

key thing is the price factor. Another thing is as it says, ECO-friendly. if driving this could contribute my part on this, why not? plus petrol is increasing by time, driving hybrid could at least help on the cost of petrol

Rm800 is cheaper then what my Honda dealer charges me, RM1k. The key can't be replicated by any shop, only through Honda or the Cobra people
