Ipad isn't 'flexible' enough for me.

haha...what you mean about not flexible enough for you?

IMO, when come to touch screen phone iphone is the best when compare the ease of typing. My hp samsung jet is less sensitive, slow input & less acurrate so u need press a bit harder when typing text.
Ipad seems nice but samsung tab not bad also..but in malaysia samsung tab sells a bit pricey..last time i check around rm2.5k right? My brother purchase tab in US just around $500 (rm1500).
both has pros and cons...but i'm a little dissappointed in lack of new features on ipad2

I guess whole Apple range of products have never been flexible???? I even felt a little bit regret for getting an iPhone... LOL

It's because it's using resistive touch screen technologies... old tech... sensing pressure... pretty much not responsive... the best I've seen that used this tech is Nokia...
modern touch screen used capacitive, sensing the presence of your finger... I have to say, among all smartphones, iPhone does lead the way on touch screen tech... but I've tried Samsung Galaxy S and it's on par of iPhone and it got Swype!!!!
the most dreaded thing in iPhone is, I can't set my phone to be on UMTS or GSM freely... need to jailbreak, open a laptop, connect the phone with one protocol, open the config files... duhhhhhhhhh.... what a mess... and without that, my phone keeps on changing signals when inside buildings... I cant connect to the internet at all!!!!
so far, the best touch screen will be iphone..the problem with android is...it needs to support a lot of hardware...and not all phone manufactures use the same hardware..so you'll expect different performance between iphone and android phones as well as between android phones
MRL...i never heard such problem from an iPhone user...there's no application in cydia that can let you change gsm/UMTS freely? probably an issue with your phone since i never heard of such problems before..are you on iphone4 ?
p/s : i'm still using nokia...haha
