try remove the battery and restart, sometimes reboot the machine won't clear those error coding

what did you do before this happen? Did you try remove the battery and restart the phone again?

Is N900 picky on bluetooth headset?

Spot some I-tech and Jabba on offer, thought of getting one but remember N900 is so picky on accessories, not sure worth to buy or not

This phone is quite tough, if the previous owner cares for it, it still can last for long time

hm...tried plug usb to pc and have a drive scan for error and let it automatically fix error, I checked around , seems like your file partition got error caused by enhance kernel.

before reflash your phone, perhaps try an upgrade to your enhance kernel

add note : i recall previous discussion here, install certain version of enhance kernel will overwrite the camera driver which actually cause the camera stop working, then fcam released an alternate driver for enhance kernel, you might search that one out or upgrade to newer enhance kernel version see can overwrite the driver again to fix it

What have you done causing it blank screen

plug in usb and copy everything to your pc then

use nokia suite to backup all system file

as flame said, backup your pictures, contact, sms, etc...those personal things, for system, just flash it

I think there is a small program call backupmenu, i didn't install it, heard it will carbon copy whole phone and can replace it back later, some sifus have tried it, wait them to tell you the results if they still exist here

your battery got problem?

maybe he tinkering the phone too much causing it to fetch extra memory space to boot

Not selling either, no plan for changing one, nothing beat the flexibility of N900 yet

I got a simple question, for those installing nitroid, is 8MB class 6 (6mb/s) microsd card enough for it?

Do I need to install Enhance kernel first or the nitdroid auto installer will handle everything?

1) I'm sure not in root cause I format the phone before without formatting the Emmc and all the conversation still there, must be somewhere in Emmc

2) Try to delete old conversation, it help the phone less lagging when start up the conversation

3) 75 is fine, before formatting mine is 70 still running good, a clean formatting will not give you much either.

no more news already, maemo is already old tech, some of the top sifu here already switch to android

Technically is not possible due to 256MB RAM, so far I didn't see any Nitdroid being upgrade, even in Nitdroid forum didn't mention about going for version 4

You can't stop the technology advance but you can retain the old tech with you, keep your N900 and buy another new toy, you never know when someone suddenly roll out a new apps for Maemo and wish to test it

Flasher primitively working in 32bit condition, but I heard there is a tweak to let it run in 64bit, perhaps you do some browsing around the net

If all else fail, you still have 2 candidate pending to sell theirs
