Leave it in Auto la. Phone sensors don't handle noise very well, so there isn't really a big difference in terms of noise handling when it comes to ISO selection. Might as well concentrate on getting the exposure right. Leaving it in Auto takes a lot of fiddling away.
Playing with the sharpness will improve things slightly. It's mainly due to the phone over-processing the image, resulting in weird renderings. Tone it down a bit and the pics should look better. |

lol no difference one. What do you mean by 'sensitivity'? In photography terms, sensor sensitivity is the ISO settings.
I know for sure fiddling with sharpness will improve things because HTC's stock camera app tends to apply too much noise reduction. |

That has nothing to do with the position of the sensor (a bit got la but not very much). For that case you might want to play with exposure compensation. The settings are like [-2, -1, 0, +1, +2] one. In dark places make it go +1 or +2. Or touch focus on the shadow parts [this is forcing the sensor to meter based on the part you touched]. (I'm assuming something important is in the shadows, or else there wouldn't be a need for the shadow parts to show up at all)

Hi, I just noticed there is a little "spot" at the edge of the curved screen near the bottom of my left most side speaker edge. Is this normal?

QUOTE(lhongwuh @ Jun 5 2011, 06:18 PM) Thanks for the casing btw.So any other buyer of Sensation that can verify if that "spot" is normal? Unless if mine is some manufacturing defect (which I probably ignore unless if it spreads) where the edge was sealed with a air bubble or fingerprint in it LOL This post has been edited by Haruji Sora: Jun 5 2011, 06:45 PM |

I thought it was some sort of wrongly sealed thing.Where did you get an original SP? I still living with an incerdible s SP for the mean time, dying for a correct one. Added on June 5, 2011, 6:49 pmWhat's a good CPU Temp widget? some of the one i found in the market shows me -1MHz (probably incompatible with Sensation) And Advanced Task killer seems to keep on dying my itself after a few hours so I uninstalled it. I am pretty new to Android world, so any tips and must have apps to install? This post has been edited by Haruji Sora: Jun 5 2011, 06:49 PM |

^keep ATK as far away as possible. Your phone has Sense3.0, which has it's own task manager, if you're interested in that kind of thing.

QUOTE(irenic @ Jun 5 2011, 02:06 PM) Irenic...mind to explain a little bit more why you planning to sell your SG 2? I mean, is Sensation that better than SG2?Added on June 5, 2011, 7:34 pmI am planning to get a phone that can support HD playback video, games on FB, fast web browsing, good task control such as Tasks and To-Do list. What's your take on this compared to SG 2? Also, is sensation has it's botloader locked or unlocked? Please advise. Having big trouble trying to decide SG 2 or Sensation even though I have been waiting for this phone for some time now. This post has been edited by nicregi: Jun 5 2011, 07:34 PM |

Where Papago is a bit tricky to get it work and the end result is not perfect but it's working, u can try to follow this guide: Thanks. Had to restart 3 time before I get my ringtones.
