Compared with E3100, which would sound better? No need to compare bass wise, the MP3300 has a larger woofer.

Feature:
Flat panel satellite design
MDF Wood enclosure for the sub
2 way satellite design
6.5" Professional design woofer
satellite: 8Wx2
Woofer: 25W
Wired remote control with volume, mute, aux in, headphone jack, & power led
Additional MIC Linking cable
Magnectically shielded drivers.

My personal view:

The bass solid then X600 & the mid better then R401.

It thin because it using the neodymium not the ordinary magnet.

It will not disppointed u cause it produce by Edifier smile.gif

Personally, i feel the performance of the thin satellite will not lose to the tight satellite.

Anyway, feel it yourself once the spk is here. smile.gif

Didn't have change to go to PC fair. Been told by the local Edifier that they will get the MP3300 melaka in two weeks time. Can't wait to test it out. Seems like eternity.

I'm very impressed by the M3300 and I bought one! The clarity of the mids and highs is where it really shines. The sound is astounding especially for a PC speaker.. pretty close to Hi-Fi standards (if they could improve the imaging and transparency a bit further, it would kick every expensive PC speakers on the market.. Klipsch included!). Futhermore the sound can be pretty loud and clear at the same time (the sounds are "clean") and suits every type of music easily. At almost half the price of the S2.1D its a bargain! No qualms about recommending the new M3300. Those who like music listening (i.e. sound clarity) look no further. thumbup.gif

Note: Don't really like those Altec Lansings anyway.. tongue.gif they sound a bit harsh and "loud". More suitable for gaming. The earlier Edifier series (such as R401, X600, etc) didn't impress me much either. Anyway, this new Edifier really redefines that! wub.gif

Retail Price: RM239

the correct model name is M3300. the MP-series is the 'portable' series like MP210 which is mainly built for notebooks/laptops for mobility.

the MP300 retails at RM259. there is no MP3300.

Our company, Inter-Asia is the exclusive distributor for Edifier speakers in Malaysia.
We recommend that you buy from our dealer shops as that is how the way it suppose to work.
We get the stocks as the distributor, we pass it to our dealers, the dealers pass it to the end users. smile.gif

If u insist on buying from us (Edifier Showroom), u can but at a fixed price which follows the Retail Price.

Then say the speakers get spoiled after a year due to the loose wires. Is it still possible to send the unit to Edifier for help?

What do u mean due to loose wires? do u mind explaining? If u keep plugging and unplugging the wires, definitely it will become a problem and it's the same for any kind of speakers.

And yes. If ur unit is out of warranty, u can send it back for repair. But we have to look at the problem first.

any problems actually, not just concerning loose wires (or you could say the contacts or the wires are loose already).

And what do you meant that you need to look at the problem first? Of course you need to look at the problem in the first place to repair it. Or is there a special condition of rules where the speakers are to be repaired or not?

And does the warranty covers all problems? Let me give you a situation:
A friend of mine came over and saw my new M3300. He decides to start playing around with it by playing some really loud musics and games as much as the dial could turn. But because it speakers are new, their "drums" are still stiff. Next thing you know the speaker breaks and thus no sound. So technically it's my fault, so does the speaker gets repaired for warranty (as in free?)?

Shenwoo: Don't worry. We'll try to solve the problem for you if it's still under warranty. It's on a case-by-case basis. If u just ask like that, it's hard to tell u.
There's really no set rules for the warranty but of course, as other warranties, if the problem if found to be caused by the user, the warranty is void.

Nicvoo: Hahah. That one is wear and tear problem, bro. Not covered under warranty. U could try unplugging and plugging it less. haha.

Hm,,,
I've been waiting for a short review of this speaker for nearly a week... Or at least a comparison with another speaker of "nearly" the same class such as R401, E3100 and X600.
Any articles online so far? Kinda stuck at home studying for finals right now sad.gif.

M3300 = RM239 - Superior Clarity along with Power for it's price.
e3100 = RM179 - Good clarity. Clarity performance is unbeaten at sub-RM200 price range.
X600 = RM179 - More to bass lovers.
R401 = RM119 - Excellent Value for money. With just RM119, no other speaker (from whatever brand) can challenge this in terms of value. Performs at nearly around M3300 standard.

Try not to bother with articles if you have the chance to test it out for yourself.
That's what the Edifier Showroom is for.

Cheers.

From your statement, I can summarise that
e3100-clarity is good at sub-RM200 but cannot rival M3300 at higher then RM200 price range
X600- of course, that's what it's for, base. But their base tend to be loud but not "precise" as what I've read compared to R401
R401- near precise base presentation, but not as good as M3300?

So overall, M3300 wins in clarity compared to e3100 and performs better then R401. In other words =We have a winner!!

I notice that the sats are thin, I know it has already been discuss about using a different kind of magnet (I dont know the technical terms here, so bear with me).
I though those normal sats with wooden enclosure are suppose to represent music more naturally? I remember reading one article on how to stuff cottons inside the sats wooden closure to improve its sound presentation.

And thanks for your time for the previous question biggrin.gif. Are you a full time staff at Edifier show room? Might be coming over only 2 weeks later. Right now not in the Klang VAlley region.

Yes. M3300 is definitely a good choice.
Firstly, it's one of the latest models.
Secondly, the price of RM239 is higher than that of e3100, r401 and x600. Thus, it's better overall.
Thirdly, nothing beats it for under RM250.

I'm a fan and supporter of Edifier speakers mainly.
I do work with them from time to time.

Cheers. biggrin.gif

The magnet is made from neodymium alloy. A super strong magnet used mostly in headphones.

Actually I found out that most satellites doesn't need to use wooden enclosure, except for bookshelves (like Edifier's R1800/R1900/S2000), as wooden enclosures are meant to reduce resonance/vibration caused by lower frequencies, which most satellites barely produce.
Yes, padding some cottons/sponge will help , but definitely not by stuffing them tongue.gif

Normally 12 to 2 o'clock position for best quality, depends on your EQ too wink.gif

The M3300 is more on tighter bass response and on clarity which gives a balance of both worlds.
As for Sonic Gear, the bass could be 'powerful', but the clarity is like a FM radio on high-EQ tweaking. Mmmm. When you listen to speakers, of course you want to be able to have good quality in clarity and bass. Not just mindless bass alone.

Never ever judge how a speaker is capable of performing just by listening to them at some reseller shop that could just be dishing out low-quality mp3 songs on a crappy player. And they could be using bad tweakings on their player and inappropriate bass settings.
The showroom is your best bet to judge the speaker for what it REALLY is.

Bring your unit to the Edifier Showroom to test and compare with the in-house M3300 at the showroom. If there is still the hissing sound, it could be due to sound card settings. Most speakers that have their volume pumped up to nearly max will have the hissing sound. Even higher priced speakers of other brands have this.
Also, it could be due to electrical issues at your location.

In order to get the BEST experience from your M3300 set, you should tweak it wisely and make it perform the best it can be at appropriate bass settings.
The bass settings on M3300 is very powerful, so all you need is to set it to about half and you can blast already. Setting it to max is just overkill and you would only want to set it to max if the audio source you are playing is really lacking in bass.
Take note that the M3300 is not designed to be a brainless bass boomer but a set of speakers that are able to deliver you the most SATISFYING sound experience for it's price putting all other speakers in that price range to shame.
Use it wisely.

R u using the on board sound card? Some on board sound card will cause this prob, i have a customer complaint the R401 bass weak when he plug to his PC which is using the on board sound. He solve the prob after he change the on board sound to external sound card.

Anyway, pls send the spk 2 us, if manufacturer defect and still under warranty period we can repair it for u.

Speaker like this is supposed to be self-powered. It has its own amp and should not need an external amp. If the speaker only sounds right with amplified source, that means something is wrong with the speaker set.

I just bought M3300 last week, and although I never heard ATP3 before, but I can said M3300 sound quality is more or less same as my friend's creative I-Trigue 3600...
I never compare the bass for these 2 speaker, just compare their sound quality while listening music... I am not a bass fans...

My roomate own VS4121, I feel that the sound quality for music, M3300 is still better, although the bass, VS4121 might be better in my opinion...

Hope these will give u some idea if M3300 worth ur buy or not...

I see,

Actually it will only have vibration when the thing go very high and also low right?

It is made of plastic and metal, its normal to have sound when there is vibration, try hold the grill or stuck with some hard paper like price tag, or worst come to worst need some glue..

Total weight is 8.5 kg ... if your "heavy" was meant literally smile.gif

Go with the M3300 if you're true music lover. I find the clarity superb and the bass is tight and accurate.

If you like exagerated bass then maybe should go for altec

i tried the vs4121 before... quite good.. i like the bass... haven try out the m3300... confused le... but my friend strongly recommended me edifier... at 1st i want the R501 but my sound card doesnt support 5.1.. i also wanna cut out a little budget to get an external hard disk..hehe...

At first I was a little dissapointed because no trebel control.
Once you try it out I believe you will agree ... the tweeter is already very well balanced. Don't need to adjust at all.

But its up to your preference. Look it up in the audiophile section

u mean besides the treble control, the overall performance and the value of money of M3300 is far more better than VS4121? coz the price is about the same rite? M3300 is sold at RM 239 while VS4121 is sold at RM220

I could be biased because I own a M3300. The M3300 is constantly being compared with V4121 in the audiophile section. Check it out to see what the more experience audiophile thinks.

I just upgraded from on-board to AV710. The thing is M3300 is already so good with clarity, so the change of soundcard has no big impact ... only better imaging and crispier treble.

So can conclude M3300 brings out the best of ordinary sound controller ?

Speaker works with any sound device, as long as you have, then plug n play, good sound card or cd player just serve the source even better, or loseless

i just bought M3300 at last month, i feel proud with it too. the satelite design so cool. many ppl initial look at the satelite will thought the satelite is weak, seems like cant produce solid mid range because its look very thin. me also think like this when i 1st look at it, but after test it out really change my mind, it can produce better mid range sound than those normal thick speaker. i believe just like Mr edifier said, it is because the magnet using inside the speaker is special. this speaker's price really worth for its performance.

Lastest price from a shop in lowyat
M3300 - RM230 (Nego)
M3400 - RM209 (Nego)
R401 - RM119 (Fix)

If your budge is around RM200, then for sure you sure go for M3300 or M3400 and not R401. wink.gif

The M3300 are great speakers. Almost perfect EXCEPT for that ocassional grill vibration sound. It only happens on very strong piano only tones (when I listen to piano solo music). Is there anyway to remove the metal grill (manually)? unsure.gif

Or do you have another solution? icon_question.gif

I've delay the second set because during chinese new year waiting for M4300 but it seem tht almost a year haven't heard any news of it release in our market. I've test the R501 at the lowyat showroom but not satisfied with the sound although it 5.1. I like M3300 for the clarity.

You can put the 2nd set behind the comp seat, the table behind it,

Ofcause you set the sound car to 4.1 setting, which have front and rear outputs wink.gif

i don't like the M3300 despite it's better clarity and power over the E3100

i have both models, i find the E3100 much more natural, and less harsh than the M3300.

R401 give lot of bass if you have proper sound card. It performed well in low and mid range volume but when you try to max out the volume, the sub will go "dancing".

Suspect is the wired controller problem. Please send the spk and controller to Edifier showroom. Ask the showroom in charge person to test it for u.

Yeah me too, just recognized zzzzz sounds, (i've just bought it last saturday). But somehow few seconds sometimes it gone. Should be the controller prob, as M3300 controller is not good, that's why M3300 does not earn best rating from reviewers.

But, note this, unstable electricity can cause this and for example
: my MP300 will create strong zzzzzz sounds at the beginning when i turn on the ups, it's because at the beginning the electric isn't stable as most UPS have "self-test" on first 15-seconds after on.

Hahas though this is rare, but just for give you my experience only...

Hi. I just bought the M3300 last week. I am having a problem with the static sound coming from my left speaker ONLY. There is nothing wrong with the speakers because I've tried it with other speakers and it still produces the static sound. I suspect is the subwoofer connection. The output going to my right speaker does not have the static sound. Only left. I thought it was my sound card or the wiring problem but I don't think it is. I tested it by only connecting the Power and the Speakers. I did not connect it to my computer. I did this in another part of my house, far far away from the computer. Same results.
I can only hear static from the left speaker.

I might just be unlucky and bought a one-in-a-million defect. I've already sent the speakers back to the shop I bought it from for servicing/replacing.

So, is there really something wrong with my M3300? Is it a defect? Has anyone experienced this before? Do you think I should insist on getting a brand new M3300?

You're not alone i suspect. I've seen in other thread that somebody has been having same problem exactly as you.

btw is the static sound coming although you are not plugging in the remote (means no current coming in at all)?

Pls send it to Edifier Showroom and get the showroom assistant to check it for u.

Sorry for the trouble cause.

You're not alone i suspect. I've seen in other thread that somebody has been having same problem exactly as you.

btw is the static sound coming although you are not plugging in the remote (means no current coming in at all)?
*
What i meant was that I did not connect the subwoofer to the computer. The subwoofer has power, but no input coming from the computer.

Well, I just got my speaker back from the shop I bought it from. They sent it for a repair already. Surprise, Surprise!!! It is still the same. There is static coming from the left side. I asked the shop person whether he knew what was the problem and if there was a report. There was none. No, for all I know, the repair person didn't even do anything.

Just wondering, how loud should the static be? Meaning, if I turn up the volume to the max, how loud should the buzzing sound be? Should both sides have the same volume of buzz?

So, the problem is still there despite sending it back. I am beginning to get a bit angry! vmad.gif Can I and should I insist on a new pair of speakers?

Only causing static from one side? If this were the case, shouldn't it come from both sides?

Where is the edifier showroom? Is it in Low Yat Plaza?

most probably the difference located at the subwoofer. so in overall sound M3300 got better bass. but if you compare the acoustic, bass, midbass and high maybe it'll be different in some cases.

OK. Now I really think my speaker has seriously something wrong.
I thought this static sound coming from my speakers was because of my power source. But my brother just got an Edifier speaker also. M1310. I tested it on my computer. It was PERFECT!!! Comparing the specs between M1310 and M3300, is exactly the same except for the extra large sub woofer in M3300. So, isn't it logical that M3300 should perform as well, if not better than M1310????

OK. I don't think I want to send it back to the place I bought anymore coz it just takes too long to get it back.
I will visit the showroom in Low Yat.
But, can I insist on getting a new set of speakers??? I'm sick of carrying it back and forth. I've done it for like 6 times already in the past month. YES!!!!

Edifier Showroom, here I come......

me too. i think it's the electricity not stable issue. so sensitive, even more sensitive than my MP300.

if you do have "voltage regulator", try to use it. IIRC in my house for the desktop i got a voltage regulator and i do not experience same problem.
(sent my M3300 hometown that day)

what the? cannot be one la actually... except ur one defective.
Plug the headphone jack behind the remote, then mute the remote until no blue light present. but do not put volume at 0%
leave microfone jack untouched... Good luck...smile.gif

btw this is the main problem why Edifier M3300 do not get high ratings in reviews although the sound is very good.

haha off or unplug? usually if like that means something wrong with the switch la, maybe quite old version, is it? i used voltage regulator, ups, surge protection for the desktop in my home using the M3300. no sound when i turn all the thing off.

hmm maybe next 3 weeks when im back home again i try..

oya... maybe ar imo if u electrical man, you just put some capacitor or mod it. u know there's 1 guy can remove the "boom" sound when you disconnect the cable from the electric plug (the boom sound almost all multimedia subwoofer got rite?)

Because the connection is shared and both the input + output in same controller,

This is actually a safety feature, when you disconnect the earphone from the controller you will not over blast the speaker and spoil it, wink.gif

To overcome it you need to mute the speaker while you using earphone on the controller, 'Play safe' brows.gif  brows.gif

Just send it to Edifier Showroom and we will fix it for u. T he noise may cause by the cable controller or 1 of the cable in the woofer (the cable unshielded so when the current unstable it will produce some noise).

Sorry for the problem cuase.

about 200...
note that when u change from VS4121, to M3300,
you'll be happy with the clarity, but may not be happy for the bass.

personally i find m3300 sounds better although the bass is not loose.
and the most interesting part of it to me is the slimness of the sats. really save space and match the lcd. smile.gif

oyeah one more. how are you going to put the M3300?
based on the review, they said that wrong placement of M3300 subwoofer will make the bass worse. and i truly agree with the source. however for myself im quite lucky that after some trial and error i got the best position for me.

Just got myself a new unit of m3300, may I know how should I test every aspect that this speaker featured into?

For eg what song do you guys usually play in order to audition the speaker whether the bass is ok or not and etc? Any particular song type or artist?

Appreciate soonest reply from all Edifier users, especially m3300 owners and Edifier staff or representatives.

My new M3300 is not only having the buzzing noise, it sounds badly distorted, like it is going to explode!!!

I hope your showroom is open tomorrow.

its even better if u are satisfied after installing it...
btw, if you have AC3filter by default (factory installed), from SUPER encoder program, or somewhere else, please uninstall it before installing the ffdshows.

glad to be some help... smile.gif

So, I own an Edifier M3300.. and the audio plug that connects the wire remote to my computer broke off, so I pretty much need a whole new wire remote. Is there any way I can find or purchase a new replacement for it? Because my speakers are practically useless now without it. And they still work fine too..

I'm planning to get an Edifier Speaker and many has come back with a positive review on M3300. I know both M3300 and SF had almost the same specs. But I was just wondering, which one should I buy because some said that M3300SF had lower clarity compare to M3300. Do advise me on this matter. Yet to try both of them tomorrow.

Thanks bro for the prompt reply. Called up Edifier from Lowyat and they came back to me with their thoughts. M3300SF had slightly better clarity. "Slightly" to the point that you will not be able to hear the difference. The price difference is due to the outer design of the satellite. Slimmer and sexier. Hehe! Can't wait to land my hands on it.

Added on March 7, 2009, 5:16 pmI've just bought my Edifier M3300 and MP230 from Lowyat today. When I compared between M3300 and SF, I don't quite like the sound produced by SF. Lots of buzzing sound. Maybe it is just my ears. M3300 one is really nice to the ears. I ended with this M3300. And I am quite surprised that the sound produced by MP230 is really loud eventhough it is powered through the USB port. Never regret purchasing them. Bought it a Sri Computers for RM218 only and MP230 for 108. Is really cheap.

Upgrade? I never even turn on the sound more than 1/3. Except
when I really want to go loud.

Its a very old Creative Digital 4.1.
Once I use my M3300 with my friend's computer, using integrated
chip cheap AsRock mobo the sound came out terrible. Distortion

I just got myself a M3300SF for RM230 recently. Auditioned both the normal M3300 and SF units. To my ears, they sound a tad bit same. Maybe sumthing wrong with my ears, but u can't go wrong with ur own pair of ears right? So I decided to buy the SF model because the satellites are glossy as by LCD bezel. A matching couple heheh thumbup.gif What can go wrong with S2409W paired with M3300SF? I'm truly satisfied with this model ^^ Oh yeah, bought this at Precess, BJ complex.... Hitching a ride of buses and ferry to buy this baby... Phew... 9kg of stuff back to sg petani... damn, i don't wanna do that again... Shouldn't be a cheapskate and use the car next time haha sweat.gif

does anyone know whether the satellites for m3310 and m3300 are the same?
i'm looking for a new set of speakers and have heard many good things on m3300
but i would really like to have the wireless remote in m3310
so if they are the same then my problem is solved

You may come to Penang, Bukit Jambul Complex top floor, a shop called Precess, I bought it from there, pretty nice price I got, or Pragin Mall, a shop called NanYang Digital. Else, in mainland, Megamall, a shop near Popular there, I don't know the name sorry. They all are Edifier seller in Penang smile.gif smile.gif Good luck.

Thanks guys ^^

EDIT : I went to the shop in Megamall Penang (Pacific), could not find anything I wanted (m3300 or e3100). I asked if they could order the speakers for me, and the shop assistant replied that they won't be taking new stocks for Edifier anymore shocking.gif

Just got my S330 at a computer/game shop near Popular in Megamall Penang (Pacific). Shop name is MGS Tech. Good service and fair price. Wanna get M3300SF at the first place but eventually end up with S330. tongue.gif

i'm wondering is it suitable for M3300sf to put in 10ft x 8ft living room? can it give punch for the music in gaming in living room with that size? i'm planning to use it on my PS3, and i'm sitting like 5-6ft away from the TV.

need advice.

Please make sure u connect the headphone to the correct port.
The wired remote has 2 ports - 1 for AUX and the other 1 for headphone.

speakers between m3300 and m3300sf,i personally think hv difference between them.
When i test both of them with few music, i found that m3300 come out more warmer music...suitable R&B music
And the m3300sf, the satellite more sharp and louder than m3300...

It seems that my M3300SF's right satellite is having problems. There's this cracking and buzzing sound from it but there's no such problem with the left satellite. Sometimes it gets really worse and the sound gets seriously distorted.

Is the showroom open? I think I might only bring the right satellite there directly for checking as it's a pain to bring the whole set.

Try to connect it to another PC or MP3, if still got the same problem u can send to the dealer u bought for warranty claim. I suspect is the SC cause the problem.
sorry for the trouble cause.

hi all especially edifier,

i have put my interest to buy either M3300 or M3300SF.. my question is, which 1 is more better?? coz after i googled about d specs, both are having same specs, except d design only.. i also did googled around lowyat plaza to test- my- ear on both model, both models are sooo terriffic in terms of sound produce.. & last week i went to edifier booth at PC FAIR KLCC, 1 of d promoters said that M3300SF sound is much more better in terms of clarity.. is it true?? previously i'm using altec lansing v4121, then after use it around 1 1/2 year, i sold it coz i'm not very satisfied with the bass sound produce, having distortion when u put a lot of bass sound on it.. then right now i plan to buy new speaker, dunno whether to choose M3300 or M3300SF.. haiizzz... sad.gif

can anyone of u give suggestion?? also, if i buy either M3300 or M3300SF, is there any problems from both models? i.e. buzzing sound, left satellite speaker not working, wired remote control died, etc?? & if all these problems came from old manufacturing production, may i know or is there any code that i can verify whether the speaer i wll buy is new manufacturing production or the old 1??

p/s: this is for my guidance to buy edifier speaker, at d same time will join this club!!!.. icon_idea.gif thumbup.gif

if you listen carefully M3300 trebles is sharper than M3300SF
but both sounded very similar and it's very hard to tell the difference
so just choose the one that looks nicer to your eyes smile.gif

I choose M3300 because I like the simple design of M3300 satellite not because it sounded nicer because I can't differentiate both sound quality

but if you really take time to test them then you'll know smile.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

after 5 days i owned this m330 & test it with different kind of music, just wondering, why my subwoofer produce so so soft bass sound?? eventho i edy turn the bass volume at d back of d subwoofer to d max.. d treble sound produce are loud enuff, but d bass are so soft.. i'm using default windows media player by windows7 (volume at 90%), set desktop sound at 80% & lastly my m330 i set d volume at half.. & totally, my bass volume at 100%.. i did changed d equalizer settings in wmp11, but there's not much different la.. even if u put ur hand at d subwoofer hole, it can't shake ur hands with d bass/ boom sound produce, not same la as those at d showroom (sricom, thundermatch, the hub, etc..) btw, i'm not using any audio card, just using & plugin d 3.5mm jack at d onboard jack only..

any idea?? someone??

bought a M3300SF at Nov 2010, so far happy with it, bass is just nice for me.
seriously, cant really feel the difference between M3300 and M3300SF.
anyone can answer why Edifier has the new design?

if you listen carefully M3300 trebles is sharper than M3300SF
but both sounded very similar and it's very hard to tell the difference
so just choose the one that looks nicer to your eyes smile.gif

I choose M3300 because I like the simple design of M3300 satellite not because it sounded nicer because I can't differentiate both sound quality

but if you really take time to test them then you'll know smile.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Easy bro, You need to change to another sound card, onboard usually can't produce that well bass
Try getting Creative Audigy 2ZS and above and I can assure you, your bass will be much better
I'm still searching for my sound card cos I sold it off before moving back to my hometown sad.gif

after 5 days i owned this m330 & test it with different kind of music, just wondering, why my subwoofer produce so so soft bass sound?? eventho i edy turn the bass volume at d back of d subwoofer to d max.. d treble sound produce are loud enuff, but d bass are so soft.. i'm using default windows media player by windows7 (volume at 90%), set desktop sound at 80% & lastly my m330 i set d volume at half.. & totally, my bass volume at 100%.. i did changed d equalizer settings in wmp11, but there's  not much different la.. even if u put ur hand at d subwoofer hole, it can't shake ur hands with d bass/ boom sound produce, not same la as those at d showroom (sricom, thundermatch, the hub, etc..) btw, i'm not using any audio card, just using & plugin d 3.5mm jack at d onboard jack only..

any idea?? someone??

Bought an Edifier M3300SF For Room TV/Astro. Sounds okay, but definitely a couple of steps below the HSC2330.

Satisfied nonetheless, for the money. Well built sub.
