what is the market price now?
Issit got M3300 n MP3300??
Im abit blur with this because some1 say M3300 n some1 say MP3300
All IT price list show M3300 RM239 n MP3300 RM259
What the different between this 2?? or it is the same?
*
Retail Price: RM239

the correct model name is M3300. the MP-series is the 'portable' series like MP210 which is mainly built for notebooks/laptops for mobility.

the MP300 retails at RM259. there is no MP3300.

Our company, Inter-Asia is the exclusive distributor for Edifier speakers in Malaysia.
We recommend that you buy from our dealer shops as that is how the way it suppose to work.
We get the stocks as the distributor, we pass it to our dealers, the dealers pass it to the end users. smile.gif

If u insist on buying from us (Edifier Showroom), u can but at a fixed price which follows the Retail Price.

Then say the speakers get spoiled after a year due to the loose wires. Is it still possible to send the unit to Edifier for help?
Of course I dont mind being charged
*
What do u mean due to loose wires? do u mind explaining? If u keep plugging and unplugging the wires, definitely it will become a problem and it's the same for any kind of speakers.

And yes. If ur unit is out of warranty, u can send it back for repair. But we have to look at the problem first.

Shenwoo: Don't worry. We'll try to solve the problem for you if it's still under warranty. It's on a case-by-case basis. If u just ask like that, it's hard to tell u.
There's really no set rules for the warranty but of course, as other warranties, if the problem if found to be caused by the user, the warranty is void.

Nicvoo: Hahah. That one is wear and tear problem, bro. Not covered under warranty. U could try unplugging and plugging it less. haha.

Hm,,,
I've been waiting for  a short review of this speaker for nearly a week... Or at least a comparison with another speaker of "nearly" the same class such as R401, E3100 and X600.
Any articles online so far? Kinda stuck at home studying for finals right now sad.gif.
*
M3300 = RM239 - Superior Clarity along with Power for it's price.
e3100 = RM179 - Good clarity. Clarity performance is unbeaten at sub-RM200 price range.
X600 = RM179 - More to bass lovers.
R401 = RM119 - Excellent Value for money. With just RM119, no other speaker (from whatever brand) can challenge this in terms of value. Performs at nearly around M3300 standard.

Try not to bother with articles if you have the chance to test it out for yourself.
That's what the Edifier Showroom is for.

Cheers.

From your statement, I can summarise that
e3100-clarity is good at sub-RM200 but cannot rival M3300 at higher then RM200 price range
X600- of course, that's what it's for, base. But their base tend to be loud but not "precise" as what I've read compared to R401
R401- near precise base presentation, but not as good as M3300?

So overall, M3300 wins in clarity compared to e3100 and performs better then R401. In other words =We have a winner!!

I notice that the sats are thin, I know it has already been discuss about using a different kind of magnet (I dont know the technical terms here, so bear with me).
I though those normal sats with wooden enclosure are suppose to represent music more naturally? I remember reading one article on how to stuff cottons inside the sats wooden closure to improve its sound presentation.

And thanks for your time for the previous question biggrin.gif. Are you a full time staff at Edifier show room? Might be coming over only 2 weeks later. Right now not in the Klang VAlley region.
*
Yes. M3300 is definitely a good choice.
Firstly, it's one of the latest models.
Secondly, the price of RM239 is higher than that of e3100, r401 and x600. Thus, it's better overall.
Thirdly, nothing beats it for under RM250.

I'm a fan and supporter of Edifier speakers mainly.
I do work with them from time to time.

Cheers. biggrin.gif

woot! i just got my m3300 today..rm239 tho..i think it's a good buy.
the sats are working fine but the woofer not powerful enough..
can't really do low frequency..well i compared it to my old sonic gear which
the sub i change into a 8" car sub..overall ok ler..nice music.. thumbup.gif
*
The M3300 is more on tighter bass response and on clarity which gives a balance of both worlds.
As for Sonic Gear, the bass could be 'powerful', but the clarity is like a FM radio on high-EQ tweaking. Mmmm. When you listen to speakers, of course you want to be able to have good quality in clarity and bass. Not just mindless bass alone.

QUOTE(MohdRidhwan @ Dec 4 2005, 01:20 AM)
i just tested the m3300 at the curve...the bass pecah lar..'tek tek' sound..maybe the song lar. But still, it made me sad. Maybe i'll go to the showroom at LY n test again.or save n buy aego/klipsch.
*
Never ever judge how a speaker is capable of performing just by listening to them at some reseller shop that could just be dishing out low-quality mp3 songs on a crappy player. And they could be using bad tweakings on their player and inappropriate bass settings.
The showroom is your best bet to judge the speaker for what it REALLY is.

QUOTE(o10+01o @ Dec 5 2005, 10:02 PM)
dude,i am having some prob..when i don't play any songs..there is this "hissing" sound coming out fr the sats...anything to cure this?
checked all the cables dee..sigh
*
Bring your unit to the Edifier Showroom to test and compare with the in-house M3300 at the showroom. If there is still the hissing sound, it could be due to sound card settings. Most speakers that have their volume pumped up to nearly max will have the hissing sound. Even higher priced speakers of other brands have this.
Also, it could be due to electrical issues at your location.

QUOTE(linkinpark @ Dec 6 2005, 01:02 PM)
I just bought m3300 few days ago the clarity is ok but i'm not very satisfied with the bass because i try with bass control to max i can't get my volumn up to 1/2.  doh.gif The bass sound so terible .
*
In order to get the BEST experience from your M3300 set, you should tweak it wisely and make it perform the best it can be at appropriate bass settings.
The bass settings on M3300 is very powerful, so all you need is to set it to about half and you can blast already. Setting it to max is just overkill and you would only want to set it to max if the audio source you are playing is really lacking in bass.
Take note that the M3300 is not designed to be a brainless bass boomer but a set of speakers that are able to deliver you the most SATISFYING sound experience for it's price putting all other speakers in that price range to shame.
Use it wisely.
