There's a limit to patience, we may love nokia but when push comes to shoveWe might even come to hate it when our expectations are betrayed again and again
I guess this is the end for our beloved Nokia

well, on the bright side... WP7 supports DX9, so if they do it right, we can see a lot of PC game ports to the platform...
just add in true multitasking and bluetooth file sending, and i'm cool with it |

I like these statement made by them especially the 2nd one...
from source http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/11/nokia-m...pping-this-year "Under the new strategy, MeeGo becomes an open-source, mobile operating system project. MeeGo will place increased emphasis on longer-term market exploration of next-generation devices, platforms and user experiences. Nokia still plans to ship a MeeGo-related product later this year." Likewise, Symbian isn't going away either: "With Nokia's planned move to Windows Phone as its primary smartphone platform, Symbian becomes a franchise platform, leveraging previous investments to harvest additional value. This strategy recognizes the opportunity to retain and transition the installed base of 200 million Symbian owners. Nokia expects to sell approximately 150 million more Symbian devices in the years to come" |

if they dare stop the 50 changes update.. I can imagine how much their reputation will be affected. Loss of worldwide customer confidence.

Actually, I think WP7 has some interesting things to offer. Still first step from microsoft, so have to see what they're gonna do next.
Anyway, I'm now very disappointed some of N8's non-camera functions. Hate the stupid typing screen that pops up. Also, how the heck Mail for Exchange don't have an accept meeting invite function???? |

Rather than looking at things in such a broad scope, they've totally neglected the "minor stuff"Anyway, I'm now very disappointed some of N8's non-camera functions. Hate the stupid typing screen that pops up. Also, how the heck Mail for Exchange don't have an accept meeting invite function???? Before they wanna go "revolutionize" the mobile world Shouldn't they first solve their internal issues Heck, even their "outsourced" NCC aren't even doing a proper job How the hell do they expect to port something so "major" if they can't even provide a good enough support What are they trying to do? Wrestle back power from Apple just cause they are starting to dominate the mobile & computing market? That's just plain stupid and worst strategic plan ever made by Nokia This post has been edited by RiuK3n: Feb 11 2011, 04:33 PM |

ecosystem my backside. This is bloody stupid. Nokia wan go have scandal with Microsoft.. Fine. Just don't interfere with the updates and deliver it on time. Don't give rubbish saying, Oh we have to put attention on windows so we have to delay symbian development.
