haha, this is known facts but then again, on stock only can last for about 10~16 hours with medium usage smile.gif...but if on LeeDroid or RevoHD, like mine...playing MP3s for about 2 hours, 30 minutes of HD video playback...WiFi on 24/7 with Y5 as saver...can last me 40 hours icon_rolleyes.gif..even got one time with only WiFi on (+ Y5 as saver) only, 35% drained in 35 hours brows.gif

Some major points that should be HIGHLIGHTED :

QUOTE
3.3- Taskillers

If you use a taskiller, simply don’t. Really. Or at least, disable any option that allows the taskiller to permanently monitor and manage your memory.

Taskillers are supposed to speed your phone by killing tasks when the Memory is ‘full’ or above a defined limit. The problem is that it interferes with Android built-in (and efficient) memory management. You have to understand that what can slow down your phone is not Memory saturation (because Android will start closing apps on its own before reaching this situation), but CPU usage. You can still use a taskiller to see which app are eating CPU cycles and close them. But again, don’t let any 3rd-party app manage your memory. It will only bring you force-closes, battery drain, and various unpredictable issues.

QUOTE
- don’t use HTC Sense account, it can use much CPU, drain your battery, burn your house and kill your family

And yes guys, HTC Sense really does consumed our battery way too much shakehead.gif...if you disable those, can actually pro-long your battery for maybe around another 3 hours or more smile.gif

if picture and sound got no problem,
might be just the problem on the video itself; i.e: framerate.
have you tried with other video file.

update leedroid user; monza84 added.

anyone know how to use Chif manager. Its included in the leedroid ROM.
but can't find more info about it. I'm not sure what to put in 'mount point' column.

sounds like the notorious SMS bug in Android...

Google fixed it in ver 2.2.2 and ver 2.3.2...

and yup, officially only Nexus One and Nexus S have the update... laugh.gif
