Quoted from someone :
I did not really know well of the products( sorry for being a newbie in this industry). However, a lot of people are buying v2 USB then 7H as they said that the sound quality of V2 is better and SteelSeries Siberia Headset are more popular than the Steelseries Headset.

Any suggestions guyz? i'm now considering to buy 7H usb or siberia v2 USB argh... this is giving me a headache lol. i prefer more on precise accurate footsteps hearing for my headset...
*
What I can say is both are very decent headsets. Even the previous Siberia V1 is already good enough for FPS games (except it was not as comfortable and bassy compared to the newer V2).

*
Yup, some people always do the burn-in process for their new headphones/speakers.

You can read more about it here:

hurm, eh, hellkeeper, what will happen after burn the headset?

Some actually noticed better sound quality, but some still find it the same. Depends on the sensitivity of the ears. laugh.gif

I quit using the soundcard afte realising it was no where better than my onboard realtek SC..
*
Most onboard soundcard these days already offers decent sound quality which is why the Siberia USB soundcard will not likely to outperform it. However if we were to compare it with some older onboard soundcard, it might have a better sound quality though. Nevertheless, it'll be important for competitive/professional gamers to have the same exact audio quality no matter where they go for competition. biggrin.gif

As for me, I usually just burn-in for 24 hours and that's it. Just want to give the headset some "warming up". laugh.gif

Usually what we gamers do will be to put all essential software inside a thumbdrive, like your own CS config file, drivers and anything else that you need for your gaming session.

Well, if you're a frequent gamer traveling to different cyber cafes most of the time, then just keep all your essential drivers/software in a thumbdrive, you'll never know when it'll become handy. biggrin.gif

SteelSeries 7H Rockette is quite an obvious prank but the 7H Pep-It is good, still practical if there's such product. laugh.gif

i wonder, since playinteractive take the place of previous distributor, why so many shop in lowyat did not sell steelseries product.

just curious.  hmm.gif
*
It depends on the shop/dealer if they would like to carry SteelSeries products or not.

Ikari Laser is around RM300, but if you buy it at a clearance sale you can get it at RM199. I been using the ikari laser for 8 months already, its nice and comfortable. Good for long gaming and it's a plug and play with 2 profile settings to set DPI. Overall, its very good. 8.5/10
*
Retails at RM269, if about RM300 better consider the Xai instead unless really particular about the mouse's shape. biggrin.gif

What you mean? From where?
*
That was during the clearance sale when Inter-Asia no longer continued their distributorship for SteelSeries products in Malaysia. So they had a clearance sale at that time.

I think there's quite some demand for the QcK+ Tyloo Edition right? Apparently there are new stocks for it already from the distributor after being out of stocks for a long time.

Well, the Siberia Neckband was regarded as cool headset at one point after it made an appearance in one of the music videos if I'm not wrong. laugh.gif

Any complains about SS aftersale/warranty wise?
*
I think this question is pretty subjective. However so far for me as a dealer, I've not had any issues for warranty with the local distributor. biggrin.gif

does it goes well with the red kinzu ?

coz, when i use the kinzu with my QCK mibr, it feels like the tracking cant track the surface -.-
*
The cloth pad definitely will go well with optical sensors. If it can't track the surface, maybe some parts are uneven. hmm.gif

Maybe you try to put something solid and confirmed straight under the cloth pad first and see if it helps. If it does improve the tracking situation then I think it's a problem with uneven surface.
