So, have you flashed to Darky 9.2? How is it?

I'm on Doc's Rom but there is still something bothering me.
Most of his themes (or adopted from other people) have this Black Text against a black background problem. I can't read the text!!!

Now I'm using NeonGT Theme, still have this problem when I'm using my Calender. I want click on the Date to change it, the text is black I can't see it...sigh...what a let down...I uses my calendar everyday...

Settings:
1) Doc's XWJS3 with Neon GT Theme
2) Speedmod K12T kernel
3) Static wallpaper
4) On 3G only when using it
5) Did a Full Cycle charge using Battery Doctor app.
6) modem JPY
7) use WIFI to update apps via Market

Usage:
1) Normal calls, smses, using calendars, clock etc
2) Surf a bit of net, lowyat forum, Facebook etc
3) PLay a bit of Talking Tom Cat (my son), Lets Golf 2 HD

Just happened once today.

Last night also experienced screen hang once.

I will jump first. I'm flashing back to Darky 9.2 CWM version now.

A bit tired of playing with Doc's ROM and after testing out 5 -6 themes, all of them gave me some form of trouble like black text against black background etc....and for the first time, an uncalled for auto reboot today....sigh

Okay, wish me success.....formatting now...

Darky, here I come again....

I have successfully flashed back to Darky's 9.2.

No more black text on black background problem

No Market forced close (occasionally experienced when I was on Doc's ROM)..

Now still on Voodoo....will play around a bit before flashing back to Speedmod kernel

Happy so far...

Any suggestion where do I find Flash games?

Need some advice here.

I have been playing around a lot with flashing ROMs, Themes, Kernels etc but have no experience in setting up email account.


1) If I want to enable my Gmail to push in emails to my SGS, how do I do that? Need to install any extra apps?

2) In order for it to work, must my 3G data be always on? That means if I use APN On/Off to switch off data, then the email will not be pushed in?

That is weird. I don't have such problem with my Darky 9.2.

Maybe you can give a bit more details:

Did you flash via CWM or Odin?

Give example of the foreign language apps you are refering to?

I experienced that on Doc's ROM too....that is why I go back to Darky 9.2 now
