Yes its by Breyton, for rim alone is RM3200. As I have been admiring breyton for years and its only catering for BMW, now got a chance to get it for non BMW, so I cant let this opportunity go.

I have to thank k00Lric for "poisoning" me with this rim  thumbup.gif , he provided me alot of info thro sms, replied my many questions and even emailed me his car pic  notworthy.gif , in fact he already got a 17" similar rim but different color on his last saturday, I went to the same shop as his but I got 18" instead.
Very nice... didnt know they fit Mitsu and Inspiras too....

Nearly got Breytons last time, but bought Alpinas instead.... now am seriously considering BE...!!!

k00lric... how much was yr 17s?? U got in in Sunway right?? Shld hv followed you that day.... or not coz surely kena racun...

AFAIK, both type oso will kena...

Speed trap (where they stop you for.... errr.... errr...): they will radio the checkpoint all cars in cluster (IE BMW merah, Forte silver, Inspira hitam... semua lebih 150)

Saman Ekor: Usually LAST car kena, coz they almost always hide behind pillar, behind bushes middle or divider (I know several locations where they "cut" a gap into the bushes and sit in it). So when they snap radar pics at the cluster of car, only the last one get caught on film...

For the bro who got the free labor voucher, our free service voucher looks like a cheque book, white, and has Proton Inspira on the cover, and has booklet number: INSxxxx. If u hv this one, it's free oil, parts n labor, heck I even got free wheel alignment too.

I wont and dont deny that there maybe some truth in the story but I have a gut feel its been exaggerated and dramatized a little too much to belittle inspira's worth and bring up the "proudness" in owning a "original" lancer.

My inspira ended up in singapore and back, no problems, all the way smooth and easy. I am sure plenty more Inspira did long distance travel this festive season, seen few on the highway, dont look like they are not happy driving it, in fact, people now respect Inspira on the road, no funny people come and play cucuk cucuk anymore after they witness I tested its power up to 180km/h on the way back, its so easy to reach that kind of speed.
*
Mine did over 1200kms during CNY and no such battery problem ever cropped up, so it's a butthurt talking!

And I totally agree many have stopped cucuk us after its well known that our engines can deliver power when we need it. Was playing with Camrys, Merc C200 aje la, Civics, Accords - smoked em all, and managed to trail Jag, E60 Beemer n Cayanne for a long distance before my passengers (had 4 adults in car) was getting very worried about their safety... Haha

However, had a super BUTTHURT Lancer (Evo X bumpers, white but with black paint on bonnet triangle... donna if its real X) try to intimidate me while on Duke. He came into the Duke via a ramp when was passing it. He quickly rev up and keep swerving in n out to catch up to me in the fast lane. Was doing 140 then n he finally caught up, and kept very close to my bumper, and I just kept my speed n ignore him. Soon, as he can't pass me (it was 515pm n Duke has many cars) n cox his exit was closing, he swerved 3 lanes at 140+km in order to make his exit in time!

What an a-hole that was endangering the lives of the ppl in his car n the other cars on the highway!! Goes to show it doesn't matter if u r driving a supercar, exotic car, or a local rebadged car, it's not the car but the attitude of the driver that makes them super a-holes n butthurts!!

Dark, mine is LGT spoiler which is lower n flatter n more parallel to the boot, n such complements the boot lip. And the angle seems right too, so I left the lip on.

Personally I felt the EVO X spoiler is too high n rounder, so it'll look better without the lip, my dua kupang.

If based on the pic u showed, I'd paint the lip BLACK to match the EVO X, as the inner/bottom part of the wing is black... drool.gif

Rm380 with paint and install is good deal. Rainbow quoted me last time is rm400 for the EVO X spoiler.

Dude, that's a LGT wan la...

But I am finding it strain that Rainbow is actually now undercutting Vox despite being their dealer... or hv Robert found a new source???

Still, it will be good for us as the prices are definitively coming down...

Anyone can do a nice write up for the pedal lock??
*
Dark, here you go, review was mine after installation, was posted here earlier by Shorty, but here since you requested it...

Review:

The build quality of the lock is very good, with solid and thick steel base.

Installation is quick (as the sifu seem very used to installing these locks) with minimal removal of parts (only the cover below the steering wheel is removed). The lock base is screwed into the chassis (I cant see from outside as the installer had to twist and contour his body to slide under the dashboard) and tightened with 3 screws. Finally, the ignition cut-ff is placed by "plug and play" to the existing socket, and the cover is replaced.

Using the lock is really simple, just pull the handle till it clicks and its done. This will then prevent the brake pedal to be fully depressed and prevents the gear shifter from being moved from P (brake pedal shift lock system).

For more security, you can engage the second lock by depressing it in. Unlocking is done in reverse, if double locked - the depressed lock must be unlocked first as the "handle" lock will not be released. The "handle" lock will snap return to the base (spring loaded) once unlocked, and the brake pedal can be fully depressed.

The ignition cut off works as indicated. You can still turn the ignition switch to "ON" but the starter wont come on "ACC" if the lock is in place.

All in, its worth install the lock as it will add another theft prevention security to your car, and most importantly with minimal installation hassle and no "reworking" of any existing car wiring that could void your warranty.

Price: RM2XX (other places I have surveyed - RM350 - 400 for double lock, RM300 - 350 for single lock)
Quality: Solidly built with thick and heavy steel. 3 pcs of keys provided.
Value for money: 4.5 of 5

ZOMG! UPGRADED!?!?!?!?! FUaaaahhhhh
*
Dude... the cheapest package is "just" sufficient only... that is mainly for minimal noise reduction...

Go for the one where it also strengthens your pillars and reduce noise.... makes driving much better as body flex is reduced... similar effect to installing strut bars.... drool.gif drool.gif

I want to install... but do you think it will get in the way for a manual car?
*
Shorty's team knows how to mod the lock to fit manual cars... so extra cost for the mod... but it works very well for manual cars too after the mod.... worth it la...

Last Fri I demoed the "ignition switch" cut-off function.... u just cant start the car even with the key if the lock is engaged...

Strut bar so much cheaper worr.... >.<

Struts helps only when cornering... foaming reduces noise, body flex and keeps it rigid during turns too...

Ask Rublik the diff of his ride during his trip up to KL (before foaming) and after.... I am sure he'll be smiling all the way back to Muar....

Rublik... comments on effects of foam (noise, handling, flex...)

Hmm. I also read another review.. I can't remember what car, but after doing complete autofoam, he decided he need bars after comparing the feel of the car with his previous car with bars, and after bars, the drive was much better. Hmm Hmm.. So susah haha! Wait for Rublik's verdict happy.gif
*
Of course la...!!!

Foaming helps in making the upper body rigid...
Struts helps in making the lower body rigid...
Bigger rims and wider tyres helps in better grip and bite...
Lowered suspensions and rigid springs helps in stiffer and less flex during corners...

They complete the set....!!!

So YOU NEED EM ALL.... Chabuts....

My SA gave me voucher to tint from CW. After tinting, they even gave me the warranty card to be kept. Might be different shop i guess. Hope you get to find one that will not void your warranty. smile.gif

p/s: I'm not sure why they say will void warranty since you're layering it on top of the old one. I don't see any problems unless the first layer starts to rot lol
*
Let's see: Ori layer = ECT, New layer on top = CW.

Bubble appear soon after, or tint gets "rusted", or tint start to fade (its a 5 yrs warranty wor)... what you do? Go CW or ECT?? Even if both agree to warranty their own film, each will ask you to remove the tint for claim... and in doing so, BOTH film will come out. Then, only one will replace it coz you have only one film after tear out... you dont expect CW to help you take out ECT, or vice versa do u??

End up, only one tint film will be replaced FOC, and you have to re-do the other one.

Worse case, both film company says its not their fault, and you end up running around for nothing, and have to re-do both or use a new film.

Both above options will cause you more and headache in trying to convince the film companies to honor their warranty...

My advice, esp if you wanna darken your car.... remove the ori tint and go for one darker film.... you still get warranty but no JPJ saman settlement la...

regarding the tint warranty.. the warranty is given by ecotint and not by proton. It is 5 years warranty. It will void if you double tinted or if u put black tint stripe at back (and it void all tint, not only back). Black stripe at front is ok.
*
Yup... ironic thing is if you do the tint in Ecotint, the warranty period for their films are 7 yrs... ws told this is a special price for Proton, thus only 5 years...

I would avoid double tint our rides, due to the complication in warranty claim (ECT say top layer cause problem, CW says bottom layer cause problem, end up ME having the problem), no JPJ saman settlement if darken...

And adding another film to the 6mil ECT film??? Wonders what will happen to the films as the window is thicker, and end up with streak after a few months/years of our windows up/down....
