Hi Jojo, so how the progress
really worried man when i see ur case
actually out of 10 main contractor 9 is using the same tactic to suck money
unless u deal with the sub con individually, but that u need to become the main con urself

BTW may i know how long it takes for the drawing approval to finish? 6 months?

Can I have the architect contact?

and last but not least, if wanna do tiling let me know, my uncle is doing it. i even reccomend to my neighbour so far no complain but the prob is, he oni do tiling
*
Hi, I also need your uncle contact number...whole house tiling works...at Serdang, Seri Kembangan..

thanks

Hi jojozep

Been following your thread.
Thanks for sharing your renovation progress. notworthy.gif
You galvanized me to start a thread of my own as I have also started renovation.
Sad to hear that you encountered so many obstacles. blink.gif
Wish you luck in completing your new home smile.gif

ha...ha also old bedhead...no time to do shopping..the original contractor caused me to spend another 40-50K..so was concentrating on the basic plumbing and water flow problems...had to break all the 3 bathrooms and my new tiles to redo all new plumbing again.....surprising...isn't it?

from old house, drawings, building, finished..

It's really a nice transformation looking at the old photos and the newly done up house. Must have really spend lots of effort in the transformation. Great job.

Thanks....we made a lot of living space...there was too much garden and not enough living space. Now , there is laundry area, maid room, karaoke room, guest room, extended master and 2 children room, car porch, and some balcony and pergola areas to hang around. Now the garden also can be enjoyed instead of being mosquitoes infested...
Also the bedrooms have internet cables ready.

The water was not flowing out...when we did find it out by breaking the tiles...there was many knooks, u-turns,and the pipes were too small. Hot copper pipes is next to the PVC pipes(imagine it could melt it).

The contractor blamed the plumber but disappeared without The water also leaks from the toilet upstairs to downstair plaster ceiling..
This whole thing was repeated in all the 3 bathrooms. We had to break the tiles as we found out only when we about to move in.

Noticed that you did not have any grilles to your doors & windows. How do you ensure security? Believe your property is in Malaysia where we cannot take security lightly.
