Really crazy, now listening to this big HD668B with stock cable only. It's so so transparent, it's like listening to a pair of hifi speaker. Sound not inside your head but has good image surround it. That's reduce listening fatigue a lot. Not bright, not dark, it's actually very neutral. The bass not overwhelming , it has fast , clean and low extension. Initially it give impression of like so plain like water, but slowly I appreciate it transparency and the resolution.

Resolution is the best part, when listening to instruments like guitar and string instruments, you could feel the air, the tension also the atmosphere.
Not to mention it's stereo separation, and the total smoothness you could experience in all kind of music.

It's a can that you could listening to music and not analyzing music, because very soon you forgot that you are actually wearing a headphone.

Ok it also has something bad about the comfortable level, it's hot, it's tight. that's the thing I would complain about.

Anyone can recommend a good portable amp to drive the 668B? I will be using it with my iPod Touch and my desktop. A DAC/amp combo would be good for both of my sources.

it's more preferable if you mention what rig that you use to drive HD668 beautifully coz it was rather hash to my taste when applying it on my rig
