Guys, talking abt A580....recently i was in langkawi and i walked in to a camera shop. Asked the person for A580 and she said got stock, but what shocked me, she said the price was RM2000 for body only!!!   Boleh percaya ar? If only i had the money at that time ...if not i would have asked for more details, cause she asked, "mau angkat ka?"

I heard somewhere where a person book for a580 at a shop. But in the end the shop say no stock. Force that person to buy a550 instead. If not, the deposit money is gone 

Which shop I cant remember exactly. Since read about it at one thread but not sure if lyn/alphantics/PM/ 

Just make sure when a shop offer something that cheap... Check everything first 

yeap, alot of reviews say its not very sharp at the telephoto end 105. But at the wide angle end its on par with the 1680Z

17-50 and 16-105 always in dilemma.. huhu

i owned Tamron 17-50 f2.8 before and had a chance to "pinjam" my friend 16-105 to compare with for a week..what can i say is

Tamron 17-50 f2.8
- hunts badly in low light (bad iq),need af assist light from flash/a700 above
- soft a bit at f2.8,at f4 its good sharp (but not so sharp).but,u got extra f stop if emergency cases
- bokeh is so,so biasala
- all range good!
- bad rubber grip.easily peel off after 1 year using it
- no gear strip issue

SAL 16-105 f3.5-5.6
- at 16-17mm f3.5, at 18mm f4 at 18mm
- sharp at wide open at wide focal lenght
- bokeh is so,so biasa sangat
- soft end @105,sharp range is between 16-70
- good IQ for fast focusing
- 2 of my friend had a gear strip issue

1750 nice nice for me....excellent for everyday uses....only own one lens now and very satisfied with it(beside the zoom range)

17-50 for wide ok la.. want more can use 55-200..
just use depends on occasion..

16 and 17 make not much diffferent.. IMHO ...
i got tammy 17-50 for a year ++ liao.. i abandon my kit lens 18-70 after i got it..
i used to consider WA lens... so i go try Tammy 12-24..

and at 12.. not much different also.. =/ ... at least.. not as i expected.. end up no buy lol

or u want... another good lens.. i dont hav.. but i suggest u go for CZ 16-80 AWSM lens yo!

ehhh.. u got 35-105 d... can la.. take tammy 17-50 .. at least can play with Fix F

depends what u are shooting..now im not that much use the range from 17-50 since i change my way of shoot (zoom with my feet).i also now own Konica Minolta 18-200 as my kit lens

if u think wanna get a travel lens,
SAL 16-105 is a good lens.forget about all rounder lens as the quality of all rounder lens are not so good as this lens..

but if u think,sometimes u need a better f stop,
tamron 17-50 f2.8 is a good lens.sharpness u can kawtim with potoshop ma..dun wori!

still,..
sony lens does not offer the f2.8 zoom lens for apsc.just hope the new announcement for a77 with 16-50 f2.8 SAM

go buy UWA la...you have focal length from 35-200 already...

go and buy 18-250 bro..no need to worried about range!
