QUOTE(FLampard @ Feb 7 2011, 11:36 PM) take into consideration that such deals does not just take the unit cost but also maintenance, technology transfer, spare parts, and etc..its like trying to compare say buying a car that has no warranty what so ever and a car that has 5 years warranty...and not to mention the price is not even updated.. |

QUOTE(FLampard @ Feb 7 2011, 11:48 PM) oh so the boat we bought is better because we have warranty, spare parts, technicians, manual guide and stuff.. its fukken expensive because of the blueprint and TOT, with those two, we can build it in bolehland with Malaysia own ship builders,if we pay ship builder from other country, the money will just flow out like that, but when the boats are build in Merehsia, the gomen pays to Malaysian owned company, so the money will circulate instead of flowing out just like that |

splitting 6 billion into 6 vessels off course you got 1 billion each. but why we dont even think about other things? salary for workers, equipments, facilities, ToT, R&D, this that blablablabla... are we going to pay them with leaves? we not in stoneage era anymore. to get a hitech gadget off course we need to spend lots of money. same goes if we want to get our hand on Iphone4 or N900 or Blackberry Torch. mahal takpa janji aku boleh pakai Iphone4. so... its vice versa. like people who like to complain how expensive the oil price is. but in the end they need to fill up their car with that expensive oil because car cant move if we used water. except they return back to steam era... if they want to la.
so... why complaining? my dad busted his ass to protect this country and its people. same goes with my little brother and my late grandfather. what do they get? just lots of condemn and negative critics. i felt sorry for them and those who are retired, still in service and those who perished during peace and war time protecting this country. hmmmmmm... its up to us to decide what is best for this country. are we ready to protect is lovely and beautiful country? or raise our butt and flee away saving our own ass? my comment in another thread |

![]() QUOTE Agong flown on Sukhoi fighter jet btwBUTTERWORTH: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin was today flown on a Sukhoi SU-30MKM fighter jet in conjunction with his visit at the air force base here. The aircraft, piloted by Squadron Commanding Officer II Lt-Col Mohd Asghar Khan Gauriman Khan, flew in a supersonic speed over Langkawi, Kedah and Penang and landed back 45 minutes later. It was accompanied by another fighter jet, the FA/18D Hornet. Royal Malaysian Air Force commander Gen Tan Sri Rodzali Daud told reporters Tuanku Mizan was happy and thrilled by the experience. Earlier, Tuanku Mizan arrived at the base and greeted by Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Chief of Defence Forces Gen Tan Sri Azizan Ariffin and Rodzali. He then inspected a guard-of-honour and was later briefed on the Sukhoi SU-30MKM fighter jet. He also visited the fighter jet simulation and a static display of the aircraft before ending his visit at 2pm. -- BERNAMA an open letter for tony pua http://securemalaysia.blogspot.com/2011/02...r-tony-pua.html edited link This post has been edited by atreyuangel: Feb 8 2011, 01:46 PM |
