from NST today

Meanwhile, Zahid defended the Shipborne Protection Team commandos for not using unnecessary force in capturing the pirates.

Foreign reports claimed the Malaysian commandos had treated the pirates with kid gloves.

"The commandos did a good job, with minimal risk to our crew and vessel and without the loss of lives," said Zahid, hitting back at reports that the Malaysian commandos were passive, unlike their South Korean counterparts who killed eight pirates in another rescue operation.

"Our mission was a success without loss of lives. All this was done without compromising the safety of the crew and vessel."

I think maybe next time of hijacking event, our navy should fire exocet to each of pirate involved, individually, head shot if they can.

later can tell to media; "yo, me shot exocet to all the pirates yor! all of them berkecai yor! the ship also berkecai yor! we more aggresive than other SOF woohoooo!"
aggresiveness +9999

Paskal or special forces are trained for such operations. such as in dealing with hostage/captive situations. They have the combination of patience, stealth and tactics that are ideal for these incidents - it is bred into their training. Paskal are superior in dealing with rescuing hostages or otherwise captives.

here one of the answer from google. add a bit plus minus
well Bunga Mas 5 is the nearest ship at that time which response to the distress call

You need a lucky shot to bring down the attack heli with those. It's not just you have to hit a rapidly moving target, but attack heli have armored cockpit, armored glass and a whole set of redundant systems. you have better chance with HMG.

In both cases, the helo was able to land safely even after such a severe damage. The one the farmer shot down, notice there's no superficial damage to it. i suspected that the bullet hit something that light up the warning light in a cockpit.

Also you should add this.
