Here's a good example that you dont need an expensive body to take a good portrait photos

QUOTE(alpha_company @ Feb 6 2011, 03:38 PM) Guys. I need an opinion. I am planning to upgrade to D700 or 5Dmk2. I dont own a lot of nikon lenses so I'm not inclined or forced to choose a certain brand. IMO just get it now since prices are quite attractive. Im sure the replacement model would cost alot more then the one available now I'm getting this for mostly wedding & event shoots. 1. Should I wait for D800/5Dmk3 or is it okay to buy either of the above cameras now? 2. For weddings & events, which camera is best suited for those occasions? |

Well finally had a chance to hold D7000 earlier today and i really like the feeling. Feels alot more sturdy then D90, shutter sound also softer and the squishy shutter is nice. Also like the movie mode switch
So now begs the question, new body or new lens? |
