but you must care the cooling system,tyre,suspension,braking system and last your gut.....because road got lot coner and this will constant high rev........when down the most important is brake system to avoid brake fade......

first going up should not be your only concern, going down is, especially on brakes.
if over heating on your first try, try radiator flushing and, try not to use ac when the outside air is already cool..used to even brought a kancil 660gx with pessenger to the top..no a/c used..
carefull not to always pijak brake when going down..

brake disc if no crack or wrap no need change 1 la
disc 1 heard before brembo (think fake 1 but the touke say quality good 1 ) oround 80 buck and cheap 1 for 50 ++

I pek uphill all the way till top also never face any overheating issue. Constant high rev on 2nd gear also no problem

important thing is do regular service. 5000km change engine oil. 15000km change gear oil.
for me 3500km change engine oil edi....... high rev.

go genting where got constant high rev steady 3rd gear with momentum can go up without problem d la. And downhill u put wat fooks braking system, if u dunno how to brake properly, wat brake also can fade.
