Go kasi scrap your straight flow muffler. Most el cheapo ah heng ah wai made straight flow muffler is noisy one...

Im currently using 4' tip SFlow HKS muffler with small bassy noise. I think you should go for this setup...

Simply putting extra bullet la, mid box la will in fact affect your car performance. To how many degree? Im not sure. What i know is the better the airflow is, the better power you going to have.

But it doesn't mean putting bigger size piping and straight flow muffler will get more WHP. It all depends on how much power your engine is churning out and increasing the piping size exponentially according to engine power is the way to go.

Even hotbits full exhaust setup for iswara / saga is only using one big long bullet with 1.6' inner diameter piping.

I think u r better off using Turbo EFI....

"Interference" in the exhaust air flow type....just to quite down the noise from his straight flow muffler, that fella want to put in another silencer/midbox@midbullet la....

Hi...wanna to ask something regarding the tunning..
Let say i set my car to cool start idle 800rpm and aircon kick in idle is 800rpm~1100rpm..when fan kick in while aircon opening...the rpm drop to 800rpm..when fan stop but aircon opening..it return to 1100rpm..isn't ok? And...by right lower the rpm fc will saving right? but for sure the car might be shake bit if rpm is too low..possible rpm set to tooooo low...and made the fc worst?

ya normal
set ur air cond kick in to 1k and idle no air cond kick in 850 should be right
no point save 100 rpm to save fc
if set low very damm hard and next to imposible to drive
i sohai try before
traffic jam u no need pass the lights
if set low when u press the gas pedal it will not straight respond
so ended die every 2 step

~Forged Piston and Conrod
~ARP studs
~And all those custom stuffs.

The total amount spent??? Might as well u get a better platform to play with. I m not saying dat 4G13/15 platform is not fiestable, but by simply BOT-ing a 4G91 for example, plonk in an Evo3 wiring and turbo kit..... easily touch above 160hp on stock Evo ECU.

Yes u can play around with the ignition timing while running on a carbie engine but u might gonna experience difficulties tuning the right AirFuel in the future. For surely u gotta redo the wiring to tap the ignition (coil, cam sensor/distributor) which is much the same and easier if u convert the whole system into EFI right??? And trust me, running "Lean" at the wrong time is not fiestable.

The Satria 4G13 is 1 gud example of a decent BOT setup. He is using a piggyback system to control both AFR and Ignition timing. Dats y his car can gain 180hp. Every engine dat plays around with the ignition timing can gain impressive figures. A proper tuning can help keep the engine healthy at its best. nod.gif

Both are running on MAP ECU so no matter wat, u still gotta have a proper management.

Not all LMST is 4-2-1. i am the example. mine OEM is 4-1. All LMSS is 4-2-1 biggrin.gif

if u really wanna do, we wont condemn u say u stupid or wat... just an opinion so u wont regret in the future.. if u take it as a project n do with no regrets, we are all happy to listen to ur updates n setting of ur carb turbo...

No 1 is giving any bad opinion upon turbocharging a carbie engine. Like Sid mention, izzit "Fiestable" or not. And I've mention b4 in my previous post the types of turbos recommended, things u need, pros and cons.

If u all are planning to give it a try, go ahead... No 1 is stopping anybody. But its better to think long term
