that is the vacuum advance distributor... it advances the ignition timing a little whenever u accelerate....
*
So do we need to change the filter or just let it be?

Hi Guys,

I have a few problems with my LMST now...

- Cold starting the car idling rpm has been unstable...it fluctuate between 0.5k rpm and 1k rpm...is constantly moving up and down...untill the engine warm up for 5minutes then it only stable but still will fluctuate abit around 0.75k prm to 1k rpm...this problem occurs once i have changed the filter to open pod is this got something to do with the changes? icon_question.gif

- After the morning starting when i drive my car i can feel that the power of acceleration does not come smoothly is like especially if u heavy floor it u can feel there is intermediate power loss but once the force kick in is strong...something like tubo lag... icon_question.gif

- Recently just changed the crank pulley after a few day of using it i can hear some sound coming from the crank pulley side is this normal? I'm using the Jasma brand purple color. icon_question.gif

- When i'm traveling on highway with aircon on i can hear some high pitch sound once i hit my speed over 90km/h. If i turn off the aircon then the sound is gone....is this my aircon problem? or some place leaks? icon_question.gif

- Every time after i pump oil sure can smell gasoline from inside of the car...is there any place where could be the leak problem came from?? icon_question.gif
*
No,i think its cause too much air + cold start cause it,I'm using drop in filter + water injection also like that but if u floor it mildly the power kick in very fast(from my own experience)

improve parts like? because my first priority or upgrade to my car is the interior parts...therefore i want to change the air con vents...together repairing any lose parts or shaky parts or somehow glue them together forcefully thumbup.gif ...

Anyway....we all know LMST Speaker mounts are 'ridiculously' limited...anyone here is a audio fanatic cool.gif  with LMST and how do you customise your back-desk to fit a more 'proper' speaker?

thanks for all the reviews wub.gif

12.5km per liter is REALLY GOOD biggrin.gif

Just wondering why you need to use RON97. There is not much difference as our ignition timing still can set to advance on RON95 provided you are using stock cam + neutral settings.

Average FC for carbie 4G1s engine are 10-11km / liter...

If 12.5km per liter is really good then my one 14~15Km per liter not damn good ler? laugh.gif

I'm using Ron97 as well....slightly tune and mostly town driving + occasionally high rev for some adrenaline thumbup.gif
am running on crab still smile.gif

That is even good...

Most of us here only average 9-11 km / liter..it's either because engine is sick, need tuning or got monster inside like catacombs one wink.gif

Haha.....soon my fc should be like tat, upgrade in progress just budget prob sad.gif
