New unit already loose? i've seen the video you really have to hold it at an odd way at a certain angle to hinge it. But any idea how to tighten it later ?

AFAIK prices b/w G2 and Dz aren't that huge, is it?

Regarding spring tightening:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...ighlight=spring

Not for the faint-hearted. But the spring strength doesn't really bother us (or those who have declared so previously).

LOL soli la long time didn't check price.

Anyway, I think google updated all their downloadable IMEs to the gingerbread style keyboard. So if you want some official gingerbread juice, can try the Google Korean IME or Google Pinyin IME. These 2 IMEs can input english so no worries.

Added on February 13, 2011, 1:12 amGreat news. ROM Manager supports CWM 3.0.0.5 now! Many XDA users reported that froyo ROMs work with 3.0.0.5 too. Now that 3.0.0.5 supports both 2.2 and 2.3 ROMs, I smell CM7 RC coming soon.

The hinge on my DZ unit was pretty good. But have read in other forums people complain their new unit longgar already.

When i read about it i thought these ppl just being anal. I noticed once or twice that the hinge does close when typing while on the bed (holding the phone above u), but didn't bother me that much.

DJFoo000, what ROM are you on now? curious to know your thoughts on the ones available now also smile.gif

just got my phone back yesterday from hospital. hehe. I'm currently trying out MIUI. Not as impressive as other put it, though it does act very iPhone-y, i.e straight to the point nothing much to tinker coz apps are all at the homescreen already. Need some getting used to, the idea of no app drawer.

When 3.0.0.5 confirm safely can fall back froyo, then I'll be flashing CM7. can't be behind trend... hehe

It seems the factory replaced something called a 'CBU' to fix my DZ's sleeping beauty problem. Do remind me to update on the condition.

Added on February 13, 2011, 12:25 pmguys do check out the front page from time to time and tell me if you need to know anything else, other than an owners' list.

DJFooo, in MIUI, you can create a folder, put every app in it, drag and drop it onto the launcher. and it will act as app drawer.
