My G53JW start to have some problem. The laptop hangs once in awhile in this past 3 days while I'm multi-tasking, with chrome,msn, and an online game on. Just today happened 3 times. So, what should I do? Thanks in advance.

It happens to my desktop before, I'm not sure if it is that exact problem, but my temp dropped significantly the second time i repaste it (with a thinner layer).

Anyway, I finally had the time to fire up my stealth fighter, and I'm unable to unistall the preinstalled Google Chrome. Any idea?

+1 The air intake for my G73Jh-A2 is above the speaker grills. 

I think its more like Asus still could not make a decent gaming level laptop yet, where they are not confident enough to go to the high end spectrum. Remember the infamous heating issues in G72, or even the early batch of G73 have heating issues. G53SW, heard some batches have CPU heating issue. Not to forget about the G73 vBIOS problem, keys dropping issue. G53 is already a huge step of improvement, IMO.

RoG needs to get their QC right first before heading to the high end spectrum.

If they cant get these things straight, how can you expect them to come out with a 585TX laptop? Asus definitely dont have the capability to do so for now.

I think, just give the mobile RoG department time to learn how to make decent gaming laptops. Look at how good is their RoG desktop parts, especially the mobo in overclocking. Just give them time, and they will catch up to Sager or AW.

I would want to change if i have the money. BF3 seem to be too demanding for a G73. Probably need a Sandy Bridge i7 and a 585M GTX to enjoy this game at high. On the other hand, G73 isnt that bad, compared to other laptops. We are already quite far ahead of the rest.

When I decide to purchase after waiting 2 years. Suddenly learn about naked eyes 3d ...

I think it can't.. why nVIDIA bother selling out a 3d glasses if can do naked eyes 3d right?

hmm... so you can sorta switch around between 3D and non-3D ? during 3D it's 1366 and non-3D it's 1920? well that's new to me, sorry for the mislead if that's the case.

if that's not the case, it's probably a customized option, which means you can choose between non-3D HD 1366 screen or 3D 1366 or non-3D FHD screens.

better check with seller first before you make the purchase.

how is the performance of 128bits GTX560M in  G53SX if compare with GT555M in N55SF ?
any of  the G53SX-SZ039V owner face any prob?

I would go for G74 as they keyboard layout is much better if compared to other G-series notebooks. They direction keys are way too near to the numpad. 
But of course the downside of G74 is the weight itself 

I am interested G53SX too. got few questions:
(1) got Naked 3d? can see 3d screen without using the 3d glasses?
(2) The highest resolution is 1920 x 1200 or 1368 x 768? i knew 3d mode is 1368 x 768 but how about without 3d?

imo the quality of the shutter glasses 3d should be better than naked eye 3d right? of course for ppl like me wearing glasses... 3d not really an option lol. Cause i tried samsung's naked eye 3d... head movement very restricted and the edges were blurry....

3D & Blu-Ray is not a priority for me so i'm opting for this, mainly because of the price tag. For the specs it's really tempting me. Perfect upgrade from my BenQ S57.

pretty sure relationship not that simple... but it comes down to whether you are at your max budget or not. Cause imo that's pretty worth it for RM4k.... unless you can't tahan less than 1080p
