I have not get my laptop yet bro. But i don't think i can update you on the 3D, because im getting the no-3d version, im just interested in the other functions. But i wonder if the diff between the non-3d and the 3D is the display panel itself? Do you think i could get 3D if i get a OEM display panel that supports 3D?

The static actually comes from the air friction of the vacuum if im not wrong. I wouldn't use the vacuum either, rather source for an air can.

why not? an air can is around RM30-RM50, i can use and keep it for long anyway. u dont have to use the whole can. lololol.

True, it's quite hard to find an air can also actually. I'm scared of the vacuum because i did that once with my desktop, everything off and grounded, the next time i switched it on, my PSU blew up.

i have no idea. maybe it's caused by my overclock also. spoilt 3 PSU in the same PC before already. That was before i stopped buying desktops altogether.

You got to read the past few posts... We have all been talking about it. Don't want to start it all over again.. Learn to read through the thread and the specs can be found on Asus Malaysia's catalogue.

IMHO MBP don't deserve to be in the same league as Alienware or the G-Series. The MBP is more to the N-series of Asus.

Anyway, the G53SW is a good choice as well. But since you're doing just photoshop and 3D modelling, i think a MBP should be sufficient. But price-wise, it's pretty much up to you to choose either 3. I wouldn't go for the m14x as it's pretty small... the G53 and MBP are both 15" . 1" bigger but a lot of difference.

Yes, an upgrade of HDD is possible. If you're coming from a 5400 RPM HDD to a 7200 HDD, then yes, loads of difference.

Righto, thanks for the info Riku. Same here, many projects to finish, currently doing all in my netbook. Had to run goddamned Eclipse IDE inside. If Asus still doesn't ship, f*** them, i'm going Sager.

Definitely, the only cons is the goddamned shipping time and Asus's f***ed up service.

Today went pass Midvalley Evernew again, saw new workers there so i decided to go play dumb with them. Looked around and they asked me what i wanted, i said i was looking for the G53SX non-3d.

They said, dont have but can put order. Will get in 3-4 weeks time. They looked really confident so my dad asked them the million dollar question, is it confirmed that we will get it in 3-4weeks times without delays. That guy just stood there, thinking for a while and said yes.

Knowing all the bullshit they have always said, i asked again, ARE YOU SURE? Then he changed his answer, saying no cannot confirm.

Got an update, my laptop has arrived. Going to pick it up tonight.

At least this aunty managed to push them for me, because i scolded her loads of times.

The thing is... mine came with matte screen, i7-2670, full HD and a sticker with nVidia 3DTV on it. wondering if i have 3D..
