Guys! Izzit possible to get a G53 with the latest SB processor for under 5krm?

*Minor damage refers to situations where the laptop is fully functional but with slight defects in non-essential components, eg: mousepad, speakers, cdrom, usb ports (but with one still functional) vga port, hdmi port, audio ports, card reader, hinge. This also includes cosmetic wear and tear to the casing of the laptop, (up to and not exceeding) 5 dead pixels, (up to, not including non essential components) 3 keys on the keyboard.

Obviously the answer is NO. U want below RM 5k? Go for Sager, roughly around 4.7k with some upgrade.

how come g53-sw does not has full HD resolution (1920x1080)?

Usually the 3D version is 1366x768 while the non-3D is in Full HD 1920x1080.

But by end of this year, G53SW 3D is gonna be in naked eye!!

hm.... dun like naked eye 3d.. effect still not very good. Was watching the samsung one.. moment i tilt my head 3d goes off... it comes back fast, but it just annoys me.

GTX 460m is unable to deliver smooth gameplay on most Games at FullHD beyond 120 fps. The only way is to reduce the lcd panel to a lower resolution ones to enable fluent gameplay.

I wouldn't say that. Its going to be G74/54 taking the slots already by the time comes.

I thought even though u tilt ur head, the camera will catch ur movement and will still feature the 3D effect to its viewer/viewers?

The G54 or final refresh of the G53 better use a more powerful GPU than the GTX460m.

Let me clarify things with u, G73JW release 3D first or G53JW 3D first? Who's first and who's second?
Same case goes to G73JH and G73JW, what can't both shares the same design the same trackpad?
The later release is always to amend the mistake of the first release. Do u get the idea now?

Ya, I agree with you on that point. Newer models are usually meant to be better than their predecessors.

But still even now, the G73SW 3D is in FHD while the G53 is still in HD. In this case, it doesn't seem that the GPU is making the G53 be implemented with 3D HD screens.

The only time when the G53 will be in FHD 3D is end of this year, right? With the naked eye 3D since 15 inch naked eye will be released 1st.

I doubt that. When they decided on that means they final with that. Get over it, its Asus themself deciding all the design and specification.

The naked eye 3D technology I saw at CeBIT 2011 at Hannover proved that I'm not that 3D guys too. The claimed 3D effects only will make my eyes and head spin . . . LOL!

that was months ago. I'm just gonna re-finance and see if G74 will be worthy my money.

I can't see 3D throught the glasses, i still the red/green color interlaced even with the glasses. Though i dun feel headache about it.

To think that the 3D Naked Eye would be amazing, I suppose we gotta wait till 3D starts to saturate the market and consumers 1st.

3D is just so overrated. It desaturates the colour and lose details on the screen. I don't see anyone wants to get a 3D able laptop.
