the lid is so damn glossy >_<

anyways i see they redesign the air intake flow... i wonder what the temps are. Interesting... its definately based on the G53 case, wonder whether the modifications they made improved it.

@looking4room, ur paying for the car logo...

but it shouldn't be held at custom unless you used USPS. Those of us that used comgateway had no problems at all. and it arrived fast. especially for me since it lands in singapore, then only comes to malaysia. And i'm in JB)

overclocking ur CPU or GPU will give you more processing power. So you can run games at a higher setting, or more framerates for the same setting.

Eg, Difference between a GT420/425/435m is the clock speeds, hardware wise they are the same. But the dangers of overclocking is that you make your system unstable (might BSOD anytime) or it might overheat.

Why overclock? U wanna shorten the lifespan of ur laptop? Most laptop will not be recommended to overclock. If ur so interested in overclocking, go get a desktop.
*
won't shorten if you keep the temps around 80C when overclocking....

hm guys i think my left fan is making a grinding noise... is it dirty?open it up to clean or just take compress air/ vacuum to blow/suck the vent?

yea so i was wondering if the sound was because of my fall, or is it in other G53 too. But so far none of us got common problems.

comgateway is a freight forwarding company. Like V-post. they give you an address to use, once your package arrive at their place (to your assigned storage) then you can pay them to ship your stuff back to malaysia/singapore/anywhere really. They use DHL

Would the cost be quite prohibitive to ship a laptop back to Malaysia by DHL ?
*
its actually cheaper, but it does take slightly longer (abour 3-5 days? around there...)

@yeohsheng once your package arrives are the comgateway warehouse, it will take 1-2 business day to process. After processing, then comgateway will tell you how much you have to pay to ship your package back. Payment is done with credit card.
