hehe looks nice actually.
but if the home kit rumor is true then well, I'm lucky to have the home kit this season.

Honestly I suspect it's the real deal... from a good source of mine, I heard that the new away kit will be black and blue.. .and walla...

One interesting thing though, is that how the club crest is applied onto the shirt... normally it will be an existing separated sharply sewn club crest (like the current home and away) that will later be embroidered around the outline... this one looks different........ as if it is heat bonded like liverpool's current home kit.

which is a good thing or a bad thing ?
because honestly the embroidered club crest looks more.. solid I'd say ?
the other one seems like, after couple times of washing it might just come out.
but adidas/nike won't have that bad quality control right.. hmm. sweat.gif

I would prefer the one shown on the new away shirt.. looks more nicer..

When the new club crest was introduced for the 2007/2008 man utd home and away, a lot of people said it looks ugly.. yeah.. the embroidered outline surrounding the crest.. well the reason why they made it that way was to reduce counterfeiting (making sharper embroidery on a separate material). But to be honest, the fakers will always do their best to imitate them...............

@rosicky_return

Ballack 13, Klose 11, Podolski 10 and Schweinsteiger 7 IIRC. Try calling up the numbers on 1st page to confirm.

bro, the new crest was introduced on the Man Utd Euro blue shirt for season 2008/09...? And i wouldn't say the new and current crest emblem is of embroidery type. But i still prefer the old embroidery type, looks and feel better lah...

Yes, it's authentic. However, the shirt sports PU type nameset which is made from plastic and also its smaller than player size and the patches on both sides are also smaller.

When I mentioned the 'new crest'.. what I meant was the crest where they made the crest out of a different material and then stitched onto the shirt based on the outline shape of the crest... which is the 2007/2009 home & 2007/2008 away:

To be honest, the first time nike made the man utd crest out of a different material and then stitched it on top of the shirt is the 2006/2007 home & 2006/2007 away:

user posted image
Left: 2006/2007 Home Crest, 2006/2007 Away Crest

Where before that (2002-2004 home, 2004-2006 home, 2002-2003 away and so on) the club crest is always directly stitched on to the jersey...

Only later for the 2008/2009 away shirt and also the blue third 2008/2009 shirt, they improved the sharpness of the club crest and stitched the red devil logo on top of the woven club crest:

user posted image
Left: 2008/2008 Away Crest, 2008/2009 Third Crest

Later, next season kits follow suit by making the club crest in the same similar way:

Left: 2009/2010 Home Crest, 2009/2010 Away Crest

user posted image
Left: 2010/2011 Home Crest, 2010/2011 Away Crest

Now.. from the leaked photo of the away kit........ it seems that the new club crest is "heat pressed" like the 2010/2011 liverpool home jersey:

Not like the ones that I showed above, where the club crest is stitched around the shape of the crest.. Which makes it very interesting..

Don't worry, but for PU namesets, if you're a beginner, try lowering the dial on the iron to 2 dots first and get to feel the
nameset sticking onto the fabric. When you get used to it, it'll be fine. You rather have a slow process than ruining the shirt due to
high heat. smile.gif
