OT, the approved loans which you have rejected also shown in the report? were those loans approved less than 3 months from your report?
*
I applied for 4 housing loans in August and all were approved. In the end I only accepted one of them. But all the 4 loans and their approved amounts are shown in my credit report, under the "Application for Credit" section.

Is the transaction considered valid if one did not sign on the credit card transaction receipt?
*
There was a time the cashier at Guardian forgot to keep the merchant's transaction slip. She gave me the wrong slip (merchant's copy which was signed) and she kept the customer's copy which was not signed instead, and I only noticed that when I was back home. However, the transaction still went through.

By the way guys, i just found out that we can settle our 0% IPP with HSBC early without incurring any penalty charges  rclxms.gif   Guess i don't have to wait until next year to cut my HSBC MasterCard then.
*
I guess you would better get the black and white from HSBC before you make early settlement. Some banks require you to write in your request officially and most of them would impose early settlement fee.

Cash rebate from retail transactions exclude those done online.

This needs to be further clarified after the actual statement arrives.

This is because they can print a duplicate receipt from the credit card processing terminal..
*
But again, they did not have the merchant's copy signed by me. They did not have my signature though. Regardless of how many copies they could reproduce, none of them would be the "signed copy".

SCB really give the rm188 cash back or not ?
*
The promotion is until 31-01-11. It could be too late if you apply for the card now, unless SCB would like to extend the promotion.

They haven't call me yet. sad.gif

I filled in the online interest form on Thursday and received their call on Friday. I applied for the cards directly through phone from the CS officer who called me on Friday. However until now the status is still "no application" when I checked from MBB hotline just now.

For OCBC Titanium MC, cash back is given to auto debit transactions. I can confirm this.

does a card upgrade will affect my records in ccris being 'restarted', meaning i need to use it for another year to have the '1 year' record, or the old and new card's ccris will be 'linked' even though the number is different?
*
Since they are 2 cards with different numbers, your new card will not have any credit record in the beginning. Creditors still can assess your credit record of your previous card.

*
Nonsense! My TM bills with auto debit from OCBC Titanium MC earn 5% cash back every month.

I guess you might have misunderstood the explanation by the CS officer. Some forummers here did highlight that they could not pay TM bills manually through OCBC online.

Now, it is confirmed that HSBC Premier WMC issued in Malaysia is a real recognised World MasterCard.

I beg to differ.
My friend transferred balance frm Citibank to OCBC. She continues to use the card as usual. When the statement comes, she just paid 5% minimum, there's absolutely zero finance charge. I saw the statement with my own eyes.
*
I did throw this question to OCBC CS last month but nobody can give me an accurate answer. They said BT and cc share the same account. Whatever payment will go towards the settlement of cc outstanding balance first. But when asked whether the extra payment will be deemed settlement of BT balance, nobody can answer this. If all the money goes to cc account ONLY, then interest will be charged for BT.

As long as CIMB and Direct Access is offering 0% BT plans I would not consider any other BT plans simply because CIMB is efficient and fast in processing BT application and making payment. Best of all they will create a separate account which makes it easier to monitor outstanding balance for BT and not have to worry about payment hierarchy.
*
I totally agree with you. It is advisable to do BT with those banks creating separate account. CIMB/DA BT serves this purpose perfectly.

I did clarify but the branch staff said that it's an AMEX but don't know which AMEX. She said cannot open the sealed envelope.

On top of that, I did inquire where's the CC came from since I didn't apply any additional. She couldn't answer that as well.
*
It's probably a real Amex, not Maybankard 2 Amex. If it is Maybankard 2 Amex, it won't be only 1 card. It should come with another VISA card.

i wanna ask regarding on due date of repayment. let's say the repayment due date is 28th of each month, then if we made the payment on 28th, consider late or on time?
*
If you pay by cash through cash deposit machine, you make the payment "in time" and no late charges will be imposed.

I received a call from OCBC Fraud Department, revealing that there is an intimation of fraud for my OCBC Titanium MC. Somebody might try to steal my details and use my card. OCBC requested to block my card immediately and gave me a replacement card. The replacement card will only be ready for collection 3 days later. No card replacement fee and service tax will be imposed. With this, I'll be getting a brand new OCBC Titanium MC with new numbers.

*
I did highlight my concern to the CS officer. He was very helpful. He sent all the auto debit forms including TNB, Astro, TM and Great Eastern to me via email. He will help me to fax the forms to the respective agencies.

Anyway, this morning I have already noticed a new card number appeared on my OCBC online banking and the old number disappeared.

Must we submit the autopay form provided by TM itself in order to get autopay rebate?
*
I am not sure about the rebate requirement.

The form given by OCBC is a one-page form with OCBC letterhead stating the agencies like Astro, Celcom, DiGi, Maxis and Telekom as well as MBPJ, MPSJ, MBSB, MPK and MPPP. Only TNB and Great Eastern have different forms.

Why make it so difficult? Just pay in FULL whatever outstanding balance as indicated in your statement on or before the payment due date, so that NO late payment penalty and interest will be charged. Always practice a good habit like this.
