I did! I lurked around this forum for 2 whole months! And still, I couldn't convince them that the item was for free, maybe it was because there was no solid evidence to prove that it was free, no newspapers bought at the time...
The temps so far is bearable, not that I have done any intensive activities yet, I just got done installing some core programs but so far it's lukewarm during without a cooler... I'm happy, compared to my old dv3, this is such an upgrade.... I love the keyboard, the touchpad and the speakers! The keyboards do not flex at all, comfortable typing and the touchpad has great response although it lags a little during two-finger scrolling... The speakers? Love it... Loud and clear even at close to max volume... Great location and positioning as well... Switching gpu is easy with a click of a button.... What else? I haven't done any gaming yet so can't say much... A few qualms about this laptop is that the USB 3.0 ports are so difficult to plug in and out of! You need both hands lol.... and the up and down keys should definitely be bigger.... and it's a fingerprint magnet!! Especially at the palmrest and the lids... ugh! I hate wiping it, it gets worse! The power button IS small but I don't have any trouble switching this baby on... A feature I would like for it to have is a touch/swipe panel for volume levels/mute, play/pause etc. buttons like my old dv3... would give it a little something extra.... And it is quite heavy compared to my old dv3 so I had some trouble adjusting... The screen is great, clear and glossy just the way I like it... Well, you know I'm a girl by the way I review this - can't give you any further more than the physical aspects of this baby... Anyways, a personal rating of 8/10! Check again in a few years, see if I change my mind.... |

Well you're right it's a gddr5 GPU but then it depends on the heat management also.. You see gaming lappies so powerful but their temps are around 70-80 only when gaming..But im actually expecting some heat probs cause the GPU is GDDR5(correct me if im wrong) and more power = more heat |

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 17 2011, 12:37 AM) Rm500 you can get a much better headphones than the overpriced beats @.@.. E.g Audio Technica ATH-M50 or AD700 Yup, you're right with the RM500 I can get much more better headphone, the reason I don't take the headphone is I'm a guy who wears spec all the time, whenever I put on the headphone I feel like very uncomfortable, that's why I didn't take it.Added on April 17, 2011, 8:27 am QUOTE(Trance4eva @ Apr 17 2011, 12:33 AM) walao...now i regret d lor No, I mean I change my mind/decision from Asus to HP.How u shift?? u sold it or refund?? DV6 not USB 3.0 Also is true. I want to ask. why not a lower temperature with USB 3.0 + Thunderbolt product ? But I believe end of this year, may has a perfect product. for examples, why apple not a product 1 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0 + Thunderbolt ? why not used USB 3.0 ? that backward compatible. So, that not a IT, only 'Money (Bussiness)problems'. Please about this. we play computer ? or computer play me/you ? not perfect, on bussiness because that can't do it, if do it, who update/buy new computer again ! So, think about this real world !
