No USB 3.0 ? better buy apple or has USB 3.0 Model. I test USB 3.0 external Harddisk transfer data arround 80-120MB persecond. used USB 2.0 driver also litter fater USB 2.0 port.
If not has usb 3.0, much has thunderbolt, that for the future recommanded. |

I used USB 3.0 now, not your say problems. is very OK. both on 2.0/3.0 device.

The power button IS small but I don't have any trouble switching this baby on... A feature I would like for it to have is a touch/swipe panel for volume levels/mute, play/pause etc. buttons like my old dv3... would give it a little something extra.... And it is quite heavy compared to my old dv3 so I had some trouble adjusting... The screen is great, clear and glossy just the way I like it... Well, you know I'm a girl by the way I review this - can't give you any further more than the physical aspects of this baby... Anyways, a personal rating of 8/10! Check again in a few years, see if I change my mind....  Added on April 17, 2011, 7:40 pmcompare more model to got perfect, that is very important. New Dell has a higher temperature is true. DV6 not USB 3.0 Also is true. I want to ask. why not a lower temperature with USB 3.0 + Thunderbolt product ? But I believe end of this year, may has a perfect product. for examples, why apple not a product 1 USB 3.0, 1 USB 2.0 + Thunderbolt ? why not used USB 3.0 ? that backward compatible. So, that not a IT, only 'Money (Bussiness)problems'. Please about this. we play computer ? or computer play me/you ? not perfect, on bussiness because that can't do it, if do it, who update/buy new computer again ! So, think about this real world ! 'If' Thunderbolt becomes a success ? how about IE1394, now only for DV. Why apple not used USB 3.0 + Thunderbolt ?
If apple want success of thunderbolt, why Not only support thunderbolt, apple can cut the USB 2.0 Too ! USB 3.0 IS very OK. why not use ? also backward compatible USB 2.0, why not change Use USB 3.0 ? why ? Why ? Now market many USB 2.0 product, you think user like plug the card on thunderbolt to use usb 2.0 product ? The main point. I think for user, you can choice: 1. USB 2.0 + USB 3.0 + Thinderbolt 2. USB 3.0 + USB 3.0 + Thinderbolt 3. USB 2.0 + USB 2.0 + Thinderbolt I think only stupid user choice '3.'. So, that a important ! apple only need gain many maney, not thinking user need. you known Iphhone main cost(For all) only US175, Sell US600, Gain 60%.
