So the chances are fading or alr faded for us to sign new players in this transfer window. Dont think we goin to sign any. Furthermore we offloaded player without finding replacement.....emmmm

I think Suarez and Adam aren't coming to Anfield since Ajax and Blackpool demand exaggerate transfer fee.

it is good sometimes you get talents for cheap but nowadays people rating their players very high and didnt come cheap anymore especially when big clubs want to buy them.

I'm just a little upset that we're unable to bring in any new players (after so many speculations) to further boost our chances of moving up the table. But I guess Damien Comolli already set half of his sight on next season.

Whether KD would get his role permanent or not still remains to be seen. I'm happy if we can get to 5th of the table, anything more is a bonus and certainly would helps bringing promising names to Anfield and makes Comolli job that little bit easier. biggrin.gif

One thing we're lucky this season though, is the minimal injury of our key players. With our current depth of the squad, I'm unsure if our reserves are able to step up if our key players are injured. Let's pray they stay fit for the remaining of the season.

On the match against Fulham, I noticed Steve Clarke doing a lot of writing on the paper before we bring in the subs. I think he has his contribution towards the system we play and tactics that KD employs. Going to pay more attention on him now. smile.gif

Is it coincidence that we minimize injuries and shorten injury period after we recruited the new physio team?

Bit hard to be critical of him until he's given a start. You don't get many opportunities to do much in under 15 minutes. I think he looks particularly matured for an 18 year old and I'm not referring to his looks. He gets into positions, isn't afraid of asking for the ball, has made a couple of intelligent passes, particularly against Wolves and has the physique. He just needs more games under his belt and I imagine it's why King Kenny's been bringing him on late.
*
I thought he was brought on quite early in last 2 games, I think around 70th min. I believe he will be the new Gerrard. He has the raw talent just like the young Gerrard used to. If KD brings him on when we are leading the game by 2 or more goals, than I would like to see him capitalizes his speed and be more composed in front of goal.

I think it's largely due to our new physio team but don't forget that unlike previous seasons, we're no longer playing in the Champions League and Roy was able to rest the key players in the Europa League matches. I think that played a huge factor as well. smile.gif

blush.gif Kudos to the physio team.

Like led_zep_freak mentioned, less hectic schedules and less high intensive games (UCL) also factored in.

why don't just sell torres?if can get 40 mil for him you can get Suarez+Honda+Young.

That's three solution for liverpool's prob(dysfunctional striker, winger not feeding crosses on frequent basis.on both flanks, even some creativity in the middle)
