Yuto Nagatomo - Japan Left back, impressed me a lot. Quick, aggressive, great in both defensive and attacking, still young (24) and might be cheap... just what we're needed.

Torres, if you choose the wrong path then you'll be walking alone.

owen was on his last year of contract..he refuse to sign an extension for watever reason...and cowardly dont want to handed in a transfer request..as a manager u dont want to see one of ur best player going out for free..Rafa have no choice but to sell..differrent reason compare to torres but probably same outcome as owen

if Torres can read this he will regret leaving us

Owen left us and he is not even worth 5 mil now, his fitness also bad, Torres will also face the same fate if he leave us. dare you go biggrin.gif

Ian Rush left us to go Europe but he too din adapt and eventually come back to us......and now still with us in a different capacity icon_idea.gif

its a jinx, once you don our RED, you will forever be a RED, if you don Blue, you will get the BLUES laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

i read on rawk forum, gerrard and torres relationship is not that good nowadays

True or not, its pretty obvious Torres hasn't been happy for quite some time now. Just look at the way he celebrated his goals this season. None slides, no fist pumps. In fact our goal celebrations these days are just depressing. Back when Xabi was around, there was a tremendous unity and team spirit. The team would have some sort of group hugs after each goals with Arby always getting on top of everyone. Now its just half hearted celebrations. I don;t know im probably just reading too much of it.

Yes you are reading too much into it.... biggrin.gif

But judging from the pic below I can see the lack of celebration from Torres and more enthusiasm from the "spectators" hehe rclxms.gif

If I were King Kenny, at this situation, I would put a gamble with Torres, Since Torres requested a transfer, then I would let Chelsea know Torres would be let go at for example 60m pound or more, then we can get profit from a player that his heart no longer with us, and we can use that money to get some quality player to build a stronger team. Maybe 60m pound is exaggerated, but since RA so in love with Torres, maybe that fellow willing to spend that much money for Torres. haha

Guys, remember.

That night: Torres handed transfer request.
Next morning: Liverpool bought Suarez for 22.8M.

What I've been trying to hit home earlier is that probably

1) Torres spoke out his ultimatum by throwing in a transfer request. Suarez was immediately bought after the 'red alert button' pressed.
2) Chelsea did an Ashley Cole on Fernando Torres.
3) Torres just wanted out and move to another non BPL squad.

It is not that after Suarez has been bought only then Torres handed in a trnsfer request. It was the other way round!

We hear fresh reports of another Chelsea bid for Torres - £35 million plus Daniel Sturridge, and that's been turned down.

A post on RAWK; I quote Des Lynam.

QUOTE
Any criticism of NESV, FSG or John Henry is totally unwarranted.

They've came in, got rid of the cancer, wiped out our debts, listened to the fans, installed King Kenny, gave free tickets to kids, made a club record signing and have acted with grace and dignity throughout. They've gone a long way in restoring the 'Liverpool way' when not so long ago we faced the very real threat of administration and lord knows what else...

So don't let Fernando Torres or any two bit journalist let you think other wise. The red men are marching up the hill and we will be great once again. It isnt blind optimism or false hope. It's fact. Remember when Owen walked out on us in Rafa's first year? Or when Rush and Keegan departed? We got on with it and we remained Liverpool Football Club. It's us against the world again. Just how we f***ing like it!
