Hey does anyone knows when is Asus N53SN release date?

It is actually in the Jan/Feb magazine so it should be out either end of January or early February but since Intel had found some flaw in their Sandy Bridge chipset, it might be postponed to maybe earliest March or April.

Just wondering, is there any other manufacturer like ACER that have speaker on top instead of bottom of the laptop? I found it annoying when put it on different surfaces it made different sound. Worse if put on carpeted or on the bed

Other criteria is the same as previous post:

1. Brand: Any brand
2. Budget; under RM2k, cheaper the better
3. Specs: Non glossy body (matte screen is a plus). long battery life (5 hours+) but no Atom please
4. Size: from 10-14"

Usually the one with speaker on top is Toshiba, but they are known for the glossy body....

What about refurb Latitude E4300? Need compromise on the speaker location though..

Thanks lee, have checked it out at Garage Sales, looks fine to me. Glossy screen would be OK because I'm indoor all the time, only some time where some light could annoy when working outdoors. Forgot to mention, I would like a cool surface, both top and bottom.

Temped by Toshiba NB550D, but I don't think it come to Malaysia anyway

The one available is NB520, sadly its Atom based...

It's worse for the laptop actually. No heat dissipation.
