runway there is kinda short, if raining, plane need more distance to slow down. if its heavy loaded, more distance. i belip the plane is heavy as usual. heavy + rain = crash lor. but good job to them pilot for no casualties.

For sure local press has been targetted by Tony after the incident.

that's just the same, covering up something like this is not good.

it's raining in kuching since around 9pm yesterday night, and still raining at this time

this accident was happen actually last night around 2200hrs. @ runway 25.

Looking at one link in the first page, AA canceled (i think all) their flights to Kuching today. Probably due to the rain and also afraid that the same thing would happen.

Rain, low visibility, heavy load and probably some crosswinds. Pilot did a good job by stopping it in the grass.

They should come clean on the issue. With Facebook and internet , it's not easy to hide these things. It should be damage-control mode, like having press conference to assure passengers, to call for internal investigation , etc. Not by hiding it mah

normally if got such situation the airport will call us at hospital for "standby for crash emergency", by MAS, their precaution procedure is good...

but yesterday no one call from air asia side, we only know about it from family members...

so nothing bad happen/

like this small case also call ppl family go hospital wait , sure kecoh later

means no one harmed during the aksi james bond


not calling family la, medical support 1.. ayam working at hospital, like few months back, got a case where the MAS plane cannot buka tayar 1, so they call us at hospital to standby the ambulance and doctor, in case of crash... at last they manage to buka, landed safely...

anyhow - that plan carried me back to and from Kuching several times. ngerinya!!! luckily no serious injuries. Pilot tidur ke!! Ini malaysia. We get heavy rain all the times!!! Are we suppose to worry everytime the rain is heavy?
