its not as complex as sim city, if you want to relax and live like pirates, get tropico 2 pirate cove, the ost is very nice, the gameplay is simple and fun

tropico 1 and 3, you play as el presidente governing a banana republic (eg.cuba) so expect rebels and a bustling economy through tourism and agriculture/mining never played tropico 1, but tropico 3 i can say that the campaign will keep you glued to your seat better than sandbox mode

both have different timeline and settings, but tropico is a good game

Agreed, I only played Tropico 3 but yar it's a good fun game, some of the missions are pretty interesting and there is lots of humour in the game in overall.

Not as indepth as other City-builder games but a good buy for that price in my opinion

I enjoyed Tropico until one day it suddenly reset my progress and I was too lazy to start from scratch. Never could find a possible solution for it.

try tropico 1, if you enjoyed it then get tropico 3

i believe tropico 3 have more features than 1 as you can issue a lot of edicts, such as contraceptive bans and killing the radio dj to name a few

the campaign in tropico 3 are funny at times and can be challenging as some mission involve time travelling and importing enough bananas to name a few
