i read a lot of pp in xdal mentioning about these two, OC here, UV there. tidak pandai puas hati betul with the capability of sgs. haha, and i think they really want to kill their phone tho. btw, thanks for your opinion

aiya... if u prefer the X bootanimation
u can always change it mate
it is dam simple.

here the steps:

1) 7zip, extract the bootanimation.zip from any of the Darky ROM system > media that contain the X bootanimation
2) transfer this bootanimation.zip to ur sdcard
3) Root explorer RW this bootanimation to system > media
4) reboot ur phone. vola... u got the X bootanimation

I jz did this to my DOC v7.9.5...

ps : incase u really love the exisiting bootanimation, so before u replace the bootanimation (X), do make a backup or copy of the exisiting bootanimation.zip to somewhere, u can always revert it with the above step 3 and 4 to change back to the exisiting bootanimation.

guys currently im on speedmod k12m with lagfix enabled so if i were to flash k12n can i just flash it straight away without manually disable all lagfixes first?

didnt c it...batt span is worse than 8.0?

When I download a Chinese song via Gtunes, the title of the song can be seen in Chinese character.

But when I play it again using MIUI or the stock Music player, the title appears in some kind of weird characters. It doesn't show the Chinese character.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

erm to go to custom rom...
1. flash to stock rom supported by CF's root to go back to recovery 2e
2. Flash CWM
3. use CWM to install custom rom thru .zip files

is it? XD correct, or u can just flash eclair first with 2e

btw i wanna ask... lets say in the kitchen i cooked up a rom with JPY but i want the CSC to be for asia use, can i flash a seperate CSC and will it interrupt anything?
which modem do u guys recommend?

guys. the wifi fix by hardcore, when u guys mentioned 'flash it', does in means in CWM choose the 'apply update.zip (need change name to update.zip' method of browse to the folder where ur file is, and then 'flash it like we flash darky rom?

Guys...can I still flash a new firmware onto my phone even though I have hardcore's speedmod kernel installed? Do I have to remove it somehow? I must say...with this speedmod...the phone is blazing fast even without lagfix!! SGS FTW!

ok guys thx for the heads up. i had successfully flashed to hardcore's jpa wifi fix. but upon checking baseband or *#1234#, it still show jpy. erm.. m abit confuse.

Interesting. I was testing XWJS3 Doc's beta kitchen v9.1. I found that the video recording auto zooms itself. I recorded a 3 minute song of me playing guitar and found that it auto zooms. xD Funny..

nope... but back then, i was tryoin to send an email, while trying to send out some files via bluetooth, somehow, after awhile it got back to normal.
erm.. i have no idea wat went wrong!

but well.. back to normal dy.. =/
