haloo sifu.. these thread so fast... i was like at page 70++ a few days back.. but now already 112.. pheww. so fast once again when new version rom is available.. and all the dark side army will gather 

btw i just install the aura sygic the GPS navi tools. i personally quite impressive with the direction and the voice command.. 

eyy.. do i need to activate these GPS.. because upon execution of aura.. it prompt me to activate the products and its end next week.. what if i dont activate it? can i still use after the activation period?

btw.. i really envy u guys hv much time to flash to a new version of darky.. mine 1 just recover from the bricking session last week. .so i want to rest for a while..anyhow i also feels itchy to try new darky v9.0. 

I have a very geeky idea in mind. but I don't know how to proceed. I really need others help, preferably android / linux guru.
ok so here goes nothing.
-I have Tasker (task automation app). I have made several profile. for example, "Work profile" where my phone will automatically turn itself into Vibrate mode everyday from 8 am to 4 pm.
-then I think that it might be useful if I can turn off Autosync and auto brightness (and set manual brightness 40%) when i'm running games. and so I make that profile and it works quite well.
-then I got another idea. What if my phone would automatically set minimum and maximum CPU speed to 1GHz? it will definitely reduces lag when playing games.
-but then I got stuck. I googled a bit and found that it may be possible to do this. but i don't understand anything in the instructions.
ok, so that's roughly what i need help with. can someone help me? sorry for such a long post and sorry for the amount of geekiness in this post. :-)

My experience is no impact on battery life. I have enable all tweak and lagfix  also. Just experience it for one day. And yesterday flash to Darky extreme rim with voodoo. Phone smoother than speedmod k12t alone but baterry drain faster. Tonight will flash it again using speedmod kernel instead of voodoo.

Speedmod didnt feel right, the kwaspd0 process kept spiking for me..maybe itst the f/w I am on.
Went back to stock kernel.

Yes by load but I use Watchdog.

I can replicate this almost everytime when I press Home on a few apps (Did that on Angry birds, Fruit Ninja, 2 tabs of Internet & calendar). Scroll app drawer a few times and then checking Watchdog. Give that a shot 

I don't get that spike when I am on stock, even having 12-15 apps in background.

Pretty sure it isn't Watchdog cos its not on monitor mode. The kwaspd0 started before ir anyway.

when u guys press the sleep button without any apps open, try press 1 of the shortcut apps in homescreen before the lock sound..see it will open the app or not

bloody hell, yes it fixed. and i flashed the rom at least thrice!!!

ill just stay with this rom for a while. (darky v8) i wasted my whole yesterday on the phone. cant waste today as well. probably go try doc's later on. i hear plenty of people recommending it. (darkyv9 aint that good yet). they event revert the wifi to v8 (in darky v9.0.3) so ya. 8 for now.

i switched to DHD for a while b4 returning back to SGS

and i can say... it sucked in video playback... what is this... u can record in HD but u cant watch it on ur phone, and the recorded video is not even 30fps, its just a constant 12fps...
