basically, it depends on wat firmware u r on, if XXJPY then it should be jpy unless u changed it ...

u removed ur bootanimation file and didnt replace it? .. sounds cool too

doc and stefunel created a CIO (cook it ourselves) kitchen, which is very promising ...
supercurio has created a Voodoo Sound v1 which enable bass in radio and amplify headphones ...
hardcore speedmod kernel is now on latest stable k12o, which have voodoo sound integrated, brigtness adjustment, etc ...
holypredator is back with his gps issues ...

as long as its from the google market it should be at least safe, google have to ensure its safe so that Android would grow ... most reports of worms/malicious apps are from custom china apps, or ahem*2 apps so beware of those ...

did u upgrade from jg4? .. some eclair apps dont run well with froyo (back in last year, not sure about it) but try wiping cache ..

+1 ... hopefully not back with other issues without looking 1st ...

1st lock is always the longest .... go out to a playground or a open carpark .. let it lock down, then only start using and see how it goes ..

ehh, u also using sgs now ah ... hahaha ...
i would suggest/recommend u to stay on official firmware for now and changing the kernel to Speedmod Kernel (it includes root&unroot, lagfix and tweaks) ... then till u use long enough only start use custom roms ..

just my suggestions, u can try others as well .. all almost the same one ..

.. dropping by at 3.40am to show off my siggie .. used no wipe version, test for few days then only change to wipe version ... exam still havent finish so dont wan go through the hassle of restoring ...
is media scanning that long? .. reboot 3 times, it seems to be long ...abit not smooth but cant comment till i flash in the wipe version ...
blueboot, the android coin turns too fast which makes it not so nice ... gonna try Android Glow or pacman (eating apples) XD

i used non-wipe xwjs3 version last night, working fine till now (from darky v8 to doc v9.1.3) ... battery draining quite fast but let me test for awhile more, havent really settle down yet i guess gotta at least let it recharge for a cycle ...

i used both mybackup pro and titanium backup, mybackup for contacts,logs,texts while titanium for apk&datas ... not sure about nandroid/cwm backup ...

btw, bootanimation for BlueBoot doesnt look blue at all .. its more towards silver/grey, and it turns too fast ... rmb to check the preview of each bootanimation ...

doc usually uses the stable version ... untill k12q goes into stable release, doubt he will update the kitchen ..
an alternative, just download 1st once flashed doc then flash latest speedmod again ..
