either download this update.zip and apply it twice in the recovery mode

OR

flash speedmod/voodoo kernel which automatically gives you a 2e cwm recovery

Hi Kmrdeva,

I saw in your signatory that you have flashed to Doc's ROM XWJS3 with XME CSC.

Does it mean that your list of applications in Samsung Apps will be limited as compared to the Multi CSC option?

Thanks
*
Let me check.. I see 13 apps in Samsung Apps with XME CSC. Anyway, have not really bothered to install anything from Samsung Apps program so the list limitation, if any, is not a big problem for me. Which are the good or must-have apps?

I still feel Darky messed up bigtime with v9.0.2
felt lots of lagginess and battery drain even after wiping and reinstalling twice.

now i'm on Doc's ROM.
unplugged since 18:22 and still in 95%. and i'm darn happy.
without losing any smoothness at all.

in fact i think this is smoother than darky.

anyway i referred to this for my cooking of the Doc's RoM:
Guide for Doc's ROM
And here's a pictorial guide:

You can start by reading from this URL if you're interested in Speedmod kernel.

try this then.. It should work smile.gif http://koush.tandtgaming.com/recoveries/re...1.2-galaxys.zip
Rename the this file to “update.zip” and put it on your internal sdcard.

Shutdown phone, wait for it to power down, then boot the phone into recovery mode (press volume up, keep it pressed, then press home button, keep it pressed, then press power button, keep it pressed until you see the Galaxy S screen. Release all three buttons when you see it).

Do this step *ONLY* if you don't have clockworkmod already in your kernel. Select “apply sdcard:update.zip” (use volume rocker to move up and down, and home button to select). Clockworkmod recovery will boot now (you may have to do apply update.zip twice for Clockworkmod to show up).

The best memo app I ever use is Evernote.. Btw, you can still backup stock memo (app+data) with titanium backup.

backup to google notes or task?
*
syncs with google tasks. I use it because I can click on tasks on the gmail at my computer, and type whatever I want. I organize them into different lists.

You need to tell us more. Tell us from the start, what did you do. Example
-Were you on stock rom previously
-Can go to recovery mode? if yes, which recovery are you on? (3e/2e/others)
-What files did you flash
-lagfix enabled?
-etc

Oh, ok then, don't need these. The screen is barely big enough for web browsing so I don't think I will stress my eyes out trying to edit pics or vids on the phone. wink.gif wink.gif
