QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jan 13 2011, 12:47 AM) I just tested a gingerbread keyboard from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...postcount=28075 Being a fan of the keyboard myself, I am pleased to see that it is working well, together with haptic feedback. Cause wan to try the Galaxy Tuned app that freakfingers12 introduced... I pushed the gbkb.apk to /system/app. But I think it may work like a normal app if you install by clicking on it in My Files program. Added on January 13, 2011, 12:51 am For what do you want to root for? As for me, I just install a custom ROM. They come pre-rooted. |

QUOTE(freakfingers12 @ Jan 13 2011, 01:17 AM) but I still havent root my phone yet..as I dunno which method is working.. QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jan 13 2011, 01:28 AM) I don't know man, chainfire's thread didn't put DXJPE. or maybe is the chance to try all the custom rom.. Quick google: http://www.techlivez.com/2010/12/how-to-ro...d-2-2-galaxy-s/ <-- don't know how reliable his advice is 1. You can wait for other member to answer. or 2. If you cannot wait, flash compatible stock kernel like JPY, and then flash the corresponding cf-root. any big issue on darky 8.0? This post has been edited by xedi: Jan 13 2011, 01:43 AM |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jan 13 2011, 01:47 AM) - make a backup of your /efs folder using adb. make sure you have 3 button download mode working. Read everything and watch the video on frontpage. Now I'm on DXJPE with speedmod k12i..- ask, if you do not understand Then you should good to go. planning to flash to darky 8.0 no wipe version.. so what I have to do is: 1. download darky's room and copy to the internal sd card.. 2. go into CWM.. 3. install zip from sd.. 4. reboot.. that's right?? will the product code or CSC be affected? |

QUOTE(lunatique @ Jan 27 2011, 11:58 PM) I still feel Darky messed up bigtime with v9.0.2 ya.. Doc's Rom felt lots of lagginess and battery drain even after wiping and reinstalling twice. now i'm on Doc's ROM. unplugged since 18:22 and still in 95%. and i'm darn happy. without losing any smoothness at all. in fact i think this is smoother than darky. anyway i referred to this for my cooking of the Doc's RoM: Guide for Doc's ROM And here's a pictorial guide: Pictorial DOCS ROM Guide I'm on DocRom XWJS3 V9.1.3 (From darky v8 moved to Doc) what is the different between v9.1.3 and v9.1.4? the boot screen sound? |
