QUOTE(redkord @ Feb 24 2011, 09:11 PM) Hmm,no idea about it. i think you should go for JAF method if you are willing to take the risk. QUOTE(abang brother @ Feb 24 2011, 09:53 PM) No wait another problem. When i have no wireless connection, it will straight away use my telco but i don't want it to. How can i make it set to connect only when wireless is available? Thanks In order to deal with this problem, i delete all the phone 3G access points. As for you, i suggest that the you move the wifi access point to number 1 priority and make sure that the wifi symbol is on the top side of the screen before browsing. |

QUOTE(abang brother @ Feb 24 2011, 10:17 PM) You mean ask when there's a connection? I did not use Whatsapp, so i am not sure how it works or how it uses the data network. Yeah i did make it number 1 priority. And when i exited whatsapp, in hope that it will stop using telco, but it still using telco. The reason why i recommend you to change the wireless to priority 1 because not all people are capable of restoring the access points for the telco network. You know how to restore the telco's access points? |

Quitting Symbian..
Had lots of great time and experience with the 5800. However, as new and fast a cfw can be, its still an old phone. It still lags. Get an upgrade |

hey. help!
my 5800 is just 1year old, and i took good care of it. until that day i saw it online at http://www.symbianzone.co.cc/2010/08/nokia...a-5800-and.html i followed the guide and flashed but my phone cannot start since then, only vibrates, no screen, no lights. during the flashing process, it ends at pooling phone, it says no respond. i googled : dead 5800 and saw a few tutorial teaching how to change it back to v52 orriginal firmware. i download navifirm and downloaded the CORRECT firmware. tried to flash my phone. Results are: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The phone then auto restart, NOKIA logo came up for some time, then lights went off. then white screen for 15-20 seconds, then off again. then no more reaction. please please please help. did i do anything wrong with the JAF? my settings are as below ![]() i really love this phone alot, anyone mind teaching me how to solve it? thankyou in advance!
