Last time, when i am using the Nokia 5800, the memory card also corrupt without a reason. Just format the memory card would do.

Can do self format ? Like format already straight can use naked like that? No need like send to shop to preinstall stuff?

Yup, but you will loose every data in your memory card

check your micro sd card, which CLASS u using right now? for example, the photo above show CLASS 2.
for Nokia 5800, CLASS 2 is the most stable class to use... while CLASS 4, 6 and 8 is high speed class which not recommended for 5800, that's the reason files always corrupt...

Using SanDisk Class 4 fora year already, No problem so far

Mine come with Class 4 4gb card.
Later buy a 8Gb San Disk Class 4.
No problem at all
Only the San Disk Class 4 is faster few times than the 1 that comes with my phone

if SanDisk or branded card shouldn't be problem, otherwise the default X branded card given by shop giving problem... most of my friends changed to lower class card, and the problem solved.

yes u can...but u cant use the assisted gps to lock the signal faster only..

You can try installing an application known as mykeylock.
