QUOTE(gimmione @ Mar 29 2012, 11:23 AM) Hi, yes there is replacement cable here. If your earphone is within one year (or two years help me check online), it is still under warranty provided you can provide us receipt (bought from us) and not physically damaged.I just want to ask. My shure 215 cable is already giving me problems (left & right audio cannot hear sometimes) Are there any replacement cables available for it? Oso, does this fall under my warranty? Thx QUOTE(wadelucy1987 @ Mar 29 2012, 11:37 AM) www.complyfoam.com I dunno whether they ship internationally. |

QUOTE(Sone Shin @ Apr 13 2012, 10:22 PM) Just when to jaben penang get the ms1i + hippo vb bundle. Bass head detected haven't when through the burn-in process. But totally worth it as in ms1i sound doesnt out loud as I worry. As expected, ms1i lack of bass. But I can switch between using my hippo VB. QUOTE(Aurora @ Apr 14 2012, 06:13 PM) I want to buy an IEM for a while already, after losing my last pair. Glad you like the place, yes everyone, we are closed on Tuesday.Auditioned few iems and bought phonak pfe012 over shure 215. It was fun, changing pairs with different songs, a lot of suprise and details, I just have to get back to the previous pair to listen to it Thoroughly impress with the variety of iem you guys carry, I didn't know they can sound so different (literally, big different). Like you guys put it, its more of a personal preference. |

QUOTE(andyreymex @ Apr 14 2012, 11:51 PM) Hi guys, A very neutral approach to both the amps and the store environment. We shall let our staff know more and have some improvement in them.My testimonial to share: Got my FiiO E3 tonight, from Jaben at Subang. It was a busy place, lots of Headphile fans came to test out some cool amps there. I wanted to go there during weekdays because I spend my weekends at home (tired of the traffic jams in Hot places like Subang). So I took my opportunity to pay a visit since the very moment I got to know about FiiO E3. I always wanted something like that. When I was there, I am pretty satisfied with the service they provided (I brought my MP3 player but forgotten to change a fresh new one, instead I ask the staff to borrow me one to test). So eventually, I was introduced to some amps, portable range from FiiO, Hippo Pipe, GoVibe & Ordnance. Mainly, I want to get E3, since I knew about this place and eager to get one. Somehow I spent my time carefully evaluate the portable amps. Honestly, I brought a very cheap MP3 player, and low range Audio Technica ATH-22. I might be doubt by the staffs why I bring such low range items to test. I want to see how good the amps that even Cap Ayam stuffs can sound good. So here's my own opinion after all the test. FiiO E3 & E6 - for E3, cheap and a small wonder, I tried it first and already gave me the surprising feel. It is very clear and loud, provided most of the frequencies are heard. For E6, I tried the functions that change the LED colors from Purple, Red and Blue. (that's all I remember.) The functions work well to me, but E6 is not for me, it seems to me as for enjoying the music, more bassy kinda feel. When I got home, I tried E3 on my laptop with the amp, and tried on my music project. I heard the quality, and I'm satisfied. Super, satisfied. I yelled, "This is what I am looking for!" Hippo Pipe - the staff showed me this item and insisted me to try. After tested E3, and change to Hippo Pipe, the music I listen to became lower amplification than E3. I was like, what?? So I told the staff as Hippo Pipe wasn't my choice, and he said it's pretty much better than E3. Hmm, I think I don't hear anything that I want from it instead E3. So as he explained that Hippo Pipe is for music in vocals, but I deal more in soundtracks and electronic music. GoVibe Martini & Ordnance .22 - Both at similar price around RM400+. GoVibe runs with 4pcs of AAA sized batteries while Ordnance .22 is rechargeable. Honestly, I do dig gadgets that runs in batteries because it can be used for a long time, although you need to spend a lot on batteries, but for the rechargeable, you may use the amp with more power and no hassle when it ran out of power, you can always charge it. But, I don't think it can be used for a long time, except if the internal batteries can be replace. One of the staff told me that I can always replace it by soldering a new one since it runs in Lithium Ion. I really can't believe why he say that, which he knew that I know about soldering, and I really do... And so, for the both that I've tested, Martini has decent quality on the amplification, while .22 have the advantage of gain switch, boosting the volume, which pretty sounds good to me. I can hear more bassy than Martini. However, it was a Korean amp. But for the choice between both, I prefer Martini, as I like it to be used for a long time, providing good care of it. Well, I am satisfied with the service and the explanation from the staffs, as well as the shop environment. I do have some thoughts to pay another visit some other time since I am very busy at work, and my music composition. Also, I do need to find a suitable brand and quality headphones for myself, research is essential. I hope that my testimonials are not to be put in debate, just sharing my thoughts and experience. Cheers yall! This post has been edited by walabies: Apr 16 2012, 10:33 PM |

W1 is a warm sounding, good compliment to some neutral IEMs, like the ACS T15, Sherwood SE777.
It is made from Dr Rudistor from Italy, compare to E5? Much better... |

QUOTE(jjaacckk2000 @ Apr 17 2012, 06:44 PM) Oh well, here is what happen for my visit of Jaben network in SS15. Especially when you wanted to choose a high end headphone, please come to have a listen first, because you invest a lot in a reviewed product, and not everyone's taste is the same. Initially I am intent to get k701/Q701 as several of my friends would suggest, and I am also personally interested in Hifiman HE-500. So I walk in this shop while it is filled with peoples, got myself a seat and the next thing I know, HE-500 and Govibe vest is presented to me. Tried few song with my hand phone but I need some comparison, so I asked for a few headphone to test. Surprisingly, the expert at Jaben slowly adapting to my taste of music and my preferences. after about 5 hours of testing on over 10 + headphones, I made my purchase of Govibe porta tube + and HD600. Did not regret a bit. So, I would suggest anyone that is serious about their music experience, and manage to visit Jaben directly, please do so. It will be worthy |

QUOTE(quad88 @ Apr 23 2012, 08:18 PM) Hmm just wanting to inquire, I bought the govibe vestamp (amplifier only version) recently, and the battery seems to last around 10 hours per charge. It takes 4hours+ to full charge (atleast thats what I think as the red LED light goes out) and within a week with less than 10 hours on the clock, boom its dead. I got to recharge it almost every week. Is this the normal battery life? Hi, if you are worried you can bring and let us have a look.Normally it would last 4 hours per charge. But when if you leave if unattended for many days, the battery will still drained. It is normal and is happening to our iPod, mobile phones... when it is off it will still drain some battery, just slower. |

QUOTE(xiang49 @ Apr 26 2012, 09:45 PM) Hehe... did u reserved it with the store?QUOTE(miaopurr @ Apr 27 2012, 11:29 AM) went to jaben subang shop and tried about 7 different IEMs. luckily i brought along my player so i could actually test the IEMs with my own player, see if they matched. Nice and comprehensive summary. was looking for a replacement of my OEM sony. told the shop what I was looking for; clarity, universal, mostly vocal jazz, some pop and rock. i don't know much about this audio thing. first tried shure SE215. heavenly! then final adagio II, also very nice. but when asked about the price, out of my price range. guess i was not ready to splurge on IEMs. so asked for 1xx price range. was actually wanting to get the final audio design piano forte II, but i found the bass too weak. eventually i had to choose between fischer audio epsilon and crossroad mylar one bijou 3. i chose crossroad because at the same volume level, the crossroad produced louder and stronger sound. and the bijou 3 build looked sturdier. after a few days of using the crossroad, i've made some conclusions: - crossroad mylar one bijou 3 is more towards bass and mid. not clarity. - excellent when i listened to diana krall's studio recording and lisa ekdahl's vem vet. i guess suitable for deep voiced female vocal jazz. - excellent when i listened to crash test dummies' afternoons & coffeespoons - not so excellent when listened to live recordings (tori amos to venus & back, and diana krall live in paris) - i think i might like the fisher more than the bijou 3 instead. - you get what you pay for. with 100+ budget, can't have everything; can't have good bass AND crystal clear clarity. want that, must willing to spend more la, right? ok now i understand. next time maybe the shure. - or work with the set budget and find one that suits best. anyway, excellent service by Jaben guys! thanks! QUOTE(Pewufod @ Apr 27 2012, 03:12 PM) No more, we only have Bijou 3.QUOTE(em0kia @ Apr 28 2012, 01:13 AM) Yes bro. This post has been edited by walabies: Apr 28 2012, 09:10 PM |
